Real Housewife of New York City star, Kelly Killoren Bensimon was recently interviewed by Star magazine. The mother of two, author and jewelry designer is staying busy until season three premiers early next year. In the interview, Kelly talked about being a role model for her girls, Mr. Right and posing for playboy.
Excerpts from Kelly’s interview is below
Star: Will you and Bethenny Frankel be friends when Housewives returns?
Kelly: I just want to be a good role model for my girls. Seeing me fight with Bethenny was good for my children because they need to learn about conflict and resolution, which is why I went to Bethenny’s event. I wanted to be the bigger person.
Star: So what qualities does Mr. Right need to have?
Kelly: He has to be like James Bond, full of adventure. I want someone who is going to explore and be athletic or just go to a dive bar, drink beer and eat chicken wings.Star: Why did you pose for Playboy?
Kelly: It’s the ultimate compliment and every woman’s dream. You get to be a sex symbol and work with top people in the business. It’s such an honor.

Playing for Playboy is such a great role model for your girls. It is, after all,what every woman dreams of right? Please – give me a break!
She is a complete hypocrite! OMG! Some role model for her daughters. I think they would be more proud of the fact that she was a high fashion model vs another naked chick in Playboy no matter “how tastefully done” the photos are.
It’s amazing how you can look like a burnt potato chip. Have an unsexy skinny body with a talentless personality to match. Have a face like a horse and your a model? All you have to do is be thin in this world to survive.
I won’t buy her book, her jewelry or view her in Playboy.

Though most all of the ‘Housewives’ claim to be serious businesswomen, it’s doubtful that a single one of them would’ve turned down a chance to pose for ‘Playboy’.
That it was Housewife Kelly Bensimon who ended up inside the hallowed pages of the over-revered girly magazine surely caused their eyes to roll in unison, since Kelly is considered to be one flake away from a full-blown imbecile who got where she’s at on her looks and the good fortune of marrying a world-renowned fashion photographer. And that’s most likely exactly how she wound up in ‘Playboy’.
Of all the housewives, Kelly’s life took the worst beating publicity-wise last season and she truly lost her social standing in NYC. Chances are that her ex-husband managed to call in some big favors and pull more than a few strings to net her the highly coveted gig with ‘Playboy’ in an effort to help her regain her place in society. I felt really bad for her, so it’s kind of nice to see her rise a bit like Phoenix.
This also proves beyond a doubt that no IQ is required in order to grace the highly air-brushed, glossy, and antiquated men’s mag. That so many female celebrities, who don’t need the money or the extra publicity, would sign a pact with the devil just to “get to be” in it, says something sad about how women themselves continue to contribute to the highly sexualized unattainable ideal of the ‘perfect’ woman ‘Playboy’ perpetuates.
Palyboy, really is missing the plot. The Countess has a way better body anyway!
And to think this ditz said she didn’t give her ‘name’ to any charity. Well, no charity will want to associate with her name now!
If every woman wants to be in playboy then every man is a rapist.
