Tonight is the long awaited and highly anticipated premier night of the Real Housewives of New York City, and the claws are set to come out in this third season opener.
Tonight’s episode will show most of the Housewives ganging up on the newly pregnant Bethenny Frankel. We will also see the widely reported rift between former BFFs, Bethenny, 39, and Jill Zarin. Apparently, things took a turn for the worse between the two when Bethenny told Jill she needed to find a new hobby and stop meddling in her life.

Then it’s Kelly Bensimon’s turn, and she has a big bone to pick with Bethenny after their very volatile relationship last season.
“She’s scary,” snaps Kelly. “I would never cross me because she’d attack me or say something bad. I was like, ‘that does not a friend make.’ It’s weird. That’s not a friend, that’s a foe. She’s got issues. I mean, come on, she ‘invented the margarita,’ says Kelly, taking a dig at Bethenny’s SkinnyGirl margarita franchise.
As we reported yesterday, it seems as the season moves along, it will become a Bethenny, Alex & Ramona team vs the Jill, LuAnn & Kelly team.
The third season premiers tonight at 10 p.m.ET on Bravo.

I saw the previews on Bravo. They had some great Q&A sessions as well. The season looks great. Bethany is even more nasty than before. It is not shocking that she had no relationship with her family
I cannot stand Kelly. She is so jealous of Bethenny it’s ridiculous. Just because your daddy bought you a Columbia degree doesn’t make you intelligent, Kelly. You misspell things on twitter of all places, all the time, yet claim to be a writer. PLEASE. And Bethenny did not claim to invent the margarita. Her life is far more successful than Kelly’s ever will be. At least we know B won’t be naming her child SEA or TEDDY. TEAM BETHENNY!! There’s a reason why she’s getting her own show!
Reason may be that the people on the 2 shows (RHNY, The Apprentice) she was on before have not liked her.

Hi Lizzie~Bethenny was on the Apprentice with Martha Stewart. Bethenny came in second and was the favorite in our home. It was no surprise to us that she has such a successful career! Hope that answers your question, Lizzie!
If I remember correctly, I read that Bethany had some issues with people on the Apprentice show including Martha Stewart, other contestants and the producing staff.

I agree with you Marie. Kelly is just plain gross, those big ugly horse teeth. The only reason she may have been any kind of a model was probably because of her ex husband, he is some kind of top fashion photographer. I cannot stand the way she looks, and when she speaks it is even worse!!!
I feel like Betheny is trying too hard with this new guy(baby daddy). She was talking so wild when she was trying to explain to her assistant what was happening with Jill. I think she wanted a kid more than a relationship and that makes for a tough go at a long-term relationship.
The countess had some work done on her face. Yuk! I actually used to think she was pretty but like the rest of all these RHW women have to go get all faux.
I actually like Ramona’s hair, cute, but she is still batshit crazy!

Not feeling the love btn Beotchany & Jason, I give their relationship two years tops.
Alex seems subdued, but it’s only the first episode and she normally does not stir the pot.
Kelly is being herself. Now comparing a perfect relationship to Batman and Robin.
Jill seems really hurt over the BFF jilted friendship with Beotchany.
Lulu needs to lay off the cigs (her voice seems hoarser than last season).

I like Kelly, and completely understood what she meant with the “I’m up here, and you’re down here.” Basically, Bethenny was acting like a 4 yr old, and she needs to grow up. Bethenny is a mean and nasty person, and shows that time and time again.
LuAnn is just alright. She does occasionally overdo the Countess thing, but she’s growing on me. I believe deep down, she’s a nice person.
Ramona is still the nasty and vulgar human being we all know her to be. Although, she professes she’s changed, I highly doubt that. It showed on the airing of the very first episode.
Jill genuinely seems hurt and angered over the Bethenny situation. Honestly, Bethenny used her…Bethenny had nobody else, and along came Jason, who by the way seems controlling, and she dropped Jill like a hot potato. Bethenny is now into Bethenny…She’s cocky, arrogant, so unlikeable, and trying to hard with this Jason character. Bethenny has always been nasty, and Jill is finally on the receiving end of it.
On the very first show, Bethenny overdid it with the whole boyfriend thing. It was fake, phony, and all she really wanted was a kid out of this. She’ll regret what happened between her and Jill.
I can not imagine having friends like these women. They do not do anything valuable with their lives. What kind of modeling are they doing for their children. They are so hateful to each other and their kids must hear some of this. Why do they even hang out together. Alex and Simon are REALLY creepy. Terrible social climbers. Your kids are out of control and you wrote a book about raising kids. Shows how crazy you both are. Luanne–drop that stupid Countess. Everyone in the world is making fun of you and laughing behind your back. I could call myself Highness too and it means jacksh*t. I know you think you are entitled to that and maybe you are but it just shows your insecurity. No one is impressed, it makes you look phony. Lady Di asked People not to use her title. Who do you think you are?? Prince Charles and his sons do not use their titles with friends. You don’t know the first thing about manners–your book is a joke.
I wish the best for Bethenny but it does make you question Jason’s intentions. Is he marrying her for exposure or for love. For the past 2 seasons Bethenny has played this bitter, overly man desperate person that was ready for a family with any and everyone. If it wasnt Jason, it would’ve been Justin, Tom, Bill, Mark or any Joe Schmoe willing to go grom single to married with 2.5 kids and a station wagon within 10 months.

I do not like her rude tone and nasty expressions. We got it, she has a big mouth but when you start hurting and offending others constantly it looks very bad.
On Watch What Happens I could not believe the obnoxious attitude!!! She can not be trusted as a friend and it is really suprising the way she talks about Jill. No matter the probelm, that is not the way.

Kelly seems to be afraid to be her self on camera after all the troubles she had before on the show. Kelly looks so Italian. Lets face it, she is an interesting person with a lot going on in her life.

I was expecting a real rehash of last night’s premier at the top of the page, rather than this old announcement about the upcoming first episode of the ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ relegated to the bottom beneath the likes of insipid stories about Tamra and Kim (YAWN).

I thought it was good, and I think the season will be good.
I think Lulu’s issue was with Mario,and should have never brought it up to Ramona she should have waited until she saw Mario and said something to him then. I also think Jill should have stayed out of it, she had no business getting involved in their discussion. I think Bethenny was right to call out Lulu.

I thought the season premiere was pretty good, drama right off the bat! Although i do feel sorry for LuAnns situation, enough with the Countess crap already! She was very rude and out of line this episode with the way she treated Bethenny and the way she confronted Ramona about Marios comment. For someone who wrote a book on class she is remarkably lacking!
I also think Ramona hit the nail on the head last season when she said Jill likes the underdog. LuAnn has become her new BFF because LuAnn is someone she can feel superior to, while Bethenny has moved on to become in love and successful.
Now to Kelly…….i dont know what her and Ramona are on, but they are both clearly out of it! Half the time i have no clue what Kelly is even trying to say, then again she probably doesnt either. And what was up with Ramonas bipolar episode on the boat?
