Has Kim Kardashian become too famous for the reality show that helped make her famous? That might be the case according to a new report.
RadarOnline is reporting that Kim could very well be leaving her hit reality show – Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The reason? Well apparently negotiations have began for the 5th season of the E! show and Kim is asking for a lot of money, more money than the E! network can afford.
And why is Kim asking for more money? Well she has noticeably become extremely popular, and apparently has many lucrative opportunities lined up to the point that it simply doesn’t pay to stay on the show.
“Kim’s advisors feel that it’s time to explore bigger deals on bigger networks,” a television insider tells Radar. “She’s right to feel like she doesn’t need to open up her personal life to make a living on TV. It looks like Kim can make a lot more money than the TV show can pay her, especially through her endorsement deals and doing appearances on bigger network shows.”
According to the source, Kim made more money from her Carl’s Jr commercial than she did from an entire season of KUWTK.
Kim is demanding an estimated $300,000 per episode which leaves the E! network in a tight spot as they cannot afford that even though the finale episode of KUWTK was the highest rated show in the history of the network.
The source says E! might decide to continue filming the show with just Kris Jenner, husband Bruce, and younger kids Rob, Kendall and Kylie, or they might just shut down the show all together and focus on Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami, which was also a big hit for the network.
As of now, the ball seems to be in E!’s court, but Kim might want to reconsider leaving the show, once upon a time Paris Hilton was very popular as well, but not so much these days. It’s likely that Kim needs the reality show to keep her popularity going strong.

Why is Gretchen famous, or Bethenny, or Jill Zarin, or Natalie Nunn, Spencer-Doofball-Pratt and Heidi Montag??? Because they’re all on Reality shows. That is what has gotten them attention.
It seems like all you have to do to get any so-called fame, is to be on a Reality show.
I like the smart ones who get the attention, then leave, and do good and charitable work from the shows that got them in the spotlight in the first place. There aren’t many though, they all are greedy and hog up the camera lens for more.
I guess she doesn’t want to finally admit that her reationship w/ Reggie Bush is officially over.

but they were reporting on Kim all over the news before she was on reality show, so my question is, how the hell did she manage to get famous, even before the reality show on E!? Maybe, it was because she was hanging out with Paris Hilton. Other than that, she’s done nothing!
What can her or her sisters do anyway except be in a reality show and pose for pictures? I have never seen any of them do anything beyond that.

Good riddance. Her sisters and mother make the show. Hell, Bruce is more entertaining than she is. I understand how she got famous but I never really understood her fame. And while, as a female, I can acknowledge the hotness of many other females, i do not think she is really that hot.
If she leaves the show, her career will falter shortly thereafter. Her products don’t appear to be that great and she has no talent. At least Khloe has some personality.
Kim did get famouse for being Paris’s arm candy.
But because she is beautiful, ended up getting attention all on her own, plus that NOTORIOUS video she did, also helped.
I tell you, it’s really crazy how these girls all have their own shows, for doing nothing! Even Kendra and Holly have their own shows. Why are they famous too? What are they contributing to society? Nothing but pure entertainment, and I guess that’s what makes for good TV these days.
Now these girls, I’ve never even heard of, have their own show, these 3 Hollywood girls that come on after Kendra. One of them was apparently connected with burglarizing Orlando Bloom’s house. So she and her stupid sisters get a Reality show now??? And her mother wants to be another Kris Jenner too.
