Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino is breaking her silence on the recent report stating her twin daughters almost drowned during the 4th of July weekend.
TMZ broke the story on Tuesday that Alexis and husband Jim Bellino left their stroller unattended while they were off “doing something” and it ended up rolling into a pool. According to TMZ, one lifeguard pulled the stroller out of the water with one child still in it, while Jim dove in to save the other child.
Alexis however gives a different version of events on her website. She states she and Jim turned their backs for a quick minute to say goodbye to some people, and the stroller ended up in the pool because she forgot to put on the brakes. Alexis also claims Jim was the one who saved both girls.
Below is what Alexis had to say -
“On Sunday, July 4th, my family was leaving the Balboa Bay Club swimming pool in the late afternoon. As we were leaving, I turned to say goodbye. Our girls were in their stroller and I thought I had put the brake on, but apparently I didn’t. My husband, Jim, and I were both standing close to the stroller. Within seconds, the stroller had rolled towards the pool and a stroller wheel rolled off the edge of the pool. Before either of us could grab the stroller, a second wheel rolled off the edge, and the stroller went into the pool. Of course, Jim instantly went into the pool. He grabbed both of the girls himself and lifted both of them out of the water. Because the girls were not strapped into the stroller, and Jim was right there, their heads did not even go under water.
While we are not making light of this incident, and have been reminded to never take our eyes off the children for even a second when near water, it has been so hurtful to know how this experience has been mischaracterized in the media. To all of you who have offered your support, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Just when you think that the RH franchise has bottomed out, JimBlob and JesusBarbie float to the top of the pool and send their kids to the bottom! You can always tell when Alexis is telling some sort of whopper, because JimBlob continues his reign as Lord and Master. I’m sorry, but even though we KNOW that JimBlob is a BIG guy, I mean a REALLY BIG guy, I do not believe that he would have been able to jump in, unhook the buckled in child, look around and find the other child and lift them both out of the water ALONG with his blobbybutt! Their daughters are no longer little toddlers – by the picture of the adoring mother and loving child in their child-size bikinis, those girls have got to be pushing, oh I don’t know, three feet tall and maybe 35-40 pounds apiece…you do the math. Either way, if you take off a couple of inches and maybe 5 pounds apiece, there is NO FREAKING WAY that JimBlob could lift both out of the water. I’m not buying what the Bellinos are selling, that’s for certain!
Oh yeah, someone should tell her that children’s bikinis are for children! My motto – even if you can put it on, it doesn’t mean that you should wear it! I think that she found a sell on children’s swimsuits and found three of the same style and color – ooo, how fun, we can all be twinkies! (What do you call the third twinkie in the pkg? They is VERY accurate,I was not there personally(if I was I would b telling the “version”of the story)My mom and bro were BOTH there and witnessed her being at LEAST 10-20 ft. That being said, so much can happen in a blink of an eye. Accidents happen regardless of negligence. It’s fortunate the children were okay.
Furthermore, why does everyone want to persecute her for being a christian that believes in plastic surgery?! She was beautiful before, and she’s beautiful now. So what? Does wanting to change your appearance make someone a bad person? Regardless of whether or not you would go through with plastic surgery, I don’t believe anyone is 100% happy with every one of their so called “flaws”. I’m sure she did it why most people do it, to feel better about herself. I think there are plenty of reasons to dislike her that have more to do with the content of her character than her bra size.

I’m certain that her Christianity and her plastic surgery obsession are not the reasons for my irritation. My irritation with this woman stems from the fact that she touts being “Christian” during moments of convenience, not something that she lives every moment of her day. She finds it easy to fade in and out of “Christianity” the way the tides wash on the beaches in California. On the one hand, she wants to lay hands on and pray for Vicki’s daughter so that she can once again prop and polish her halo for her adoring public. On the other hand, she drinks enough tequila to become delusional about her husband’s sex-appeal and her husband talks about the size of her breasts with their Pastor and his wife! She participates in gossip sessions and tears Vicki limb from limb and then makes a point of bringing God into the show by conveniently going to church. If you are a Christian of Convenience, you should expect that people are going to notice it and comment on it. If you are Christian, it is something that comes as natural as breathing and is not something that is done simply for points. I think that she is ridiculed more for being a hypocrite rather than being a plastic marionette sitting on JimBlob’s knee waiting for him to pull her strings to make her dance. I don’t care if she has surgery or not, just tell the truth about it. Own it, if you don’t, expect that someone somewhere is going to find out all about it (kind of like HMR and Gretchen) and then you will be humiliated because the truth will be told. That’s my take on it. Christians of convenience? Hypocrits, that’s all!

I agree that with kids accidents can happen in a blink of an eye. I think some of these comments are way over the top, but that’s the nature of the Internet beast.
As far as the plastic surgery…….
For me this is the hypocrisy: They claim to be evangelical christians and part of their belief system is that God is involved and in control in the creation of each human being. So, for them to surgically alter what God himself created is in violation of their own dogma. Its is an undisputed rejection of what they claim to hold dear. Oh, I’m sure her insecurities can rationalize each procedure that she has had done, but in the end, she’s telling god she hates what was created for her.
Hence, people find all the cosmetic surgery makes Alexis a blatant hypocrite.
Then, there’s all the sexy pictures. There’s nothing wrong (IMNOHO) a woman who is in great shape and wants to wear a little bikini to show it off;her picture by the pool for instance with one of her daughters. But, all of these alluring pictures to sell herself as a sex OBJECT is hypocritical on her part. I get the impression she’s been wanting this type of attention for as long as she can remember (In S. Cal she’s just one more surgically altered, thin, tall blond) and she’s finally getting it.

Obviously JimSlob paid for all the laser (she had extensive sun-damage) and peels. Her ex-husband stated that it looks like she’s had a nose job and has bigger boobs.
Add to that a chin implant (removed in early 2010, imo), a brow lift, a mini lower face lift to take up the slack from the removed chin implant, face and lip fillers, fake tan, fake hair color and botox, and all we have here is a manufactured appearance.

No matter what she says, no matter how she says it, it will always look bad regardless. there is no way to minimize this her kids could have died. people don’t learn from their mistakes because they are too busy denying them, very sad. Where were her two nanny’s? she always has to nannies with them, i guess we can see why now. i hope she has learned about no taking your eyes of a child in a public place and avoid a disaster again. she is luck cps did not come to the house to investigate
i was there that day also not with them but with my husband what i saw was the two of them making such a spetical of themselves and trying to meet as many people as they could while they were there. CPS should have investigated because in her first marriage it has been reported she is a mean mean drunk and a gold digger but you can see that on the show already that silky blue top she wore was horrible her boobs were hanging out like she was 20 yrs old i was embarrased for her and her husband who does treat her disrepectfully

All I know is she is not a real Stay at Home Mom. I am a stay at home mom and like an above poster said, I do it all. I do not have 2 nannies helping me out while I go to the gym, get my hair done, get facials, go tan, get my nails done, go shopping… instead I enjoy my hour long walk when my husband gets home from work…that is usually the extent of any “breaks” I get. And I don’t want/need much more than that! My son is more important to me than all that superficial stuff.

Accidents do happen. Children die/hurt in locked cars, drown in backyard swimming pools, burned by something hot—the list can unfortunately go on. What I’m getting at is accidents do happen. Thank God her children where saved. Let’s just leave it at that. The Christian thing to do is judge less you be judged. It can and does happen every day—to both “good” and “bad” people. Be good Christians. Pray for her children if that’s what you feel. Cherish your own child. A moment’s neglect is something we are all guilty of. Don’t act holy than thou about it.
