Andrew Gordon, a 39 year-old podiatrist from Miami Beach, FL, found himself the latest house-guest to be eliminated from Big Brother 12.
In a new interview with PEOPLE, Andrew aka Captain Kosher, discusses his elimination despite being a pawn, his eviction speech, finding out about Matt‘s lie, and why he thinks Rachel is an “idiot.”
Excerpts from Andrew’s interview below -
What do you think was your biggest mistake in the house was?
I shot myself in the foot with the speech that I gave during the veto meeting and couldn’t recover.
During that speech, you lied and said you were coming after Rachel and Brendon. Had you stayed in the house and won HOH, who would your targets have been?
I would have targeted Kristen and Hayden with the intent of getting Kristen out of the house.
Julie Chen called [your speech] “the best plea speech I’ve ever seen.”
I think it was on of the top eviction speeches ever. I hope people don’t take it to heart after the show is over with. If I had more time, I would’ve liked to have exposed the Lane and Matt connection.
You lied about your profession but now that you know the truth about Matt, do you feel he went too far?
It’s part of the game. Some people in the world believe he did go too far. I believe that when you go into the house, it is a game and you should never take anything personally.
What did you think of Rachel’s goodbye message when she accused you of trying to get between her and her man?
Rachel is an idiot. I think if anything I saved her man and now she repays me by sending me out. I want to ask her that when she gets out as well.
Nominated for eviction tonight are Hayden and ‘girlfriend’ Kristen, as Britney did not use the POV to save either of them. The plan by HOH Rachel is to get Kristen out, but we will find out tonight if that works.

I’m afraid Kristin is gonna get the boot this week. Hayden already has votes in his pocket so he’s sitting pretty. I hope he doesn’t take it to heart when his girl campaigns against him, ’cause I guarantee she will.

Kristen deserves to go home….I mean you can’t come hard at the person who is HOH when you don’t even have the skills to win POVs or HOHs for that matter.
She sucks and didn’t have a game plan at all coming into the house. I mean if she wanted to play the Jordan and Jeff game (with Hayden) she needed to lay very low…..that out burst that she had with Rachel did her in.
She should have proven herself to be a fighter and contender in the game by winning the POV and turning the game on its head by taking herself off.
I am waiting for a someone to make a big move and I am thinking that person will be Brittney…….
@4 I agree. If Kristin had played her cards right, at least Matt would have had his bum on the block and he is least likable when compared to Hayden.
I’m not convinced that Rachel is playing a very good game b/c she is making decisions based on emotions instead of making decisions that would take major competitors out of the game.
And as a side note, am I the only one who thinks Brittney is hysterical??

@5….I agree that Boy George (aka Rachel) is playing off emotions rather than strategically. If I were her I would have gon after Matt and that whole dumb brigade. They are her worst threat in the house. I would have left Hayden and Kristen so that they could share in being targets as showmance couples…thus taking some of the heat off her and Brendan. But like you said she is caught up in her emotions and that will undo her and lover boy.

But, you have to admit, Kathie is not PLAYING the game, she is playing the pity card. She isn’t trying to play the game to win, she wants to play on people’s hearts and their emotions. For that reason alone, she should be sent to the jury house at the earliest possible moment. Either play to win or get out, plain and simple. For all that you can say about Boobula, she is playing to WIN!
