Last Thursday, Ragan Fox found himself the latest evicted houseguest from the Big Brother 12 house. The 34 year-old college professor from West Hollywood, CA saw his luck run out as he had no alliance members left in the game.
In a new interview with PEOPLE, Ragan discusses the difficulty of being the Saboteur, while he didn’t form any alliances, and why he wouldn’t be friends with Rachel, even on facebook. Excerpts are below -
Q: What was the hardest part of being a successful Saboteur? Did the guilt of sneaking around ever get to you?
Ragan: Hardest part was having the added stress of sabotage when my game play was falling apart. The Saboteur duties emerged the same week I split from Brendon and Rachel.
Q: You never seemed to form any strong alliances in the house. You were quick to make friendships, but no alliances. Was that strategy or was it necessity?
Ragan: Again, this was a season of friendships not alliances. Several times I tried to form alliances but it never panned out. When Kristen left I tried to scoop Hayden up, but by that point he was already really good friends with Enzo and Lane. I could have been in an alliance with Brendon and Rachel, but that would have involved being in an alliance with Brendon and Rachel — no thanks!
Q: When you suspected the guy’s alliance, why didn’t you follow your gut and try to call them out in front of the rest of the house?
Ragan: I had a hunch about the boy’s week three. The minute you start pointing a finger at people especially early in the game that’s when you form a target on your own back. So going after them early in the game meant they would have come after me early in the game.
Q: Going into a Jury House with Rachel and Brendon, what do you think your first words to them will be? You said your feelings for Brendon had “evolved.” Why? Do you think your feelings for Rachel will evolve as well?
Ragan: My feelings for Brendon have evolved because Rachel brings out the worst in Brendon. Once she left he was a much friendlier person. Regarding Rachel, my feelings have not evolved. I have no interest pursuing any type of relationship with her. I would not even be friends with her on Facebook — that request would be “denied.” First words will be, “Happy to see me?!”
On last night’s episode of Big Brother, we saw Britney get eliminated after being informed of the Brigade alliance. And just like that on of the Brigade douchebags members will win Big Brother 12. The 3-part HOH competition began last night, and tonight we will find out who won the first part.
TELL US – OF THE FINAL THREE BIG BROTHER CONTESTANTS, WHO ARE YOU ROOTING FOR?

I am rooting for BB to be over…but, out of the 3 clowns…I think Hayden’s hair will win the money…
I hope Lane wins. I cannot stand Enzo, who has done nothing but ride coattails all season long. Hayden would be my secong choice for a win, but I really dislike him too. This season was actually boring and I am glad that it’s almost over!
I have a gut feeling it will be Hayden too. I also can’t wait till this season’s over with. Wonder if they’ll be another and if so, will BB learn from their mistakes in casting and twists, especially the twists!! To do the same ones 2 to 3 times in one season was just to much for my taste!!
Don’t know how true this is but I heard Brit say that the DR told her they had the highest ratings of all seasons. ??? If so, I’m wondering how!! ?? I really thought this season was the worst of them all!!
Just my 2 cents….
DOMINO, I hear ya!! I can’t stand Enzo either and like you, I think he’s done nothing but ride coattails!! I would HATE to see him in the final 2 and I sure don’t want to see him win AFP!!
Even though I think Hayden will win, I’m hoping it’s Lane too. If Lane makes it to final 2, I’m wondering if Brit will give him her vote. ?? I know she said there were no hard feelings but I also remember her telling Hayden, could have been part of game play tho, that if it was he and Lane sitting there, she’d give her vote to him because she doesn’t think Lane “needs” the money. Should be interesting!
Just my 2 cents…
Is this the gay one?
@5 Hi Bryan
Yep , it is
this has been the most boring big brother ever. I guess Hayden should win since he has won more challenges than enzo and lane. enzo said on line that his wife pulls down 600,000 a yr and lane family is in oil and he said his job is to take people golfing. have heard nothing about hayden so guess he should get the money.
I think this has been a really good season. Regardless of whether final 2 ends up being Hayden/Lane, Hayden/Enzo, or Lane/Enzo, I think any of the remaining 3 deserve the win more than last season’s final 2 of Jordan and Natalie who were both weak players and had been carried to the finals.
ugh so glad regan left the house. cant stand him all he did was cry.
hope hayden wins!!
