So much for those rumors of Bristol Palin getting a spin-off reality show with one of MTV’s Teen Mom stars, as a new report reveals she doesn’t even want them anywhere around her!
According to Popeater, Bristol has informed the producers of Dancing With The Stars that she doesn’t want Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham and other Teen mom stars in the audience cheering her on. Why? Apparently the “Teen Activist” is trying to move away from the whole I’m famous solely due to my famous mom and getting knocked up as teen image, and trying to become a more legit celebrity.
“Bristol Palin has made it very clear to the show producers that she doesn’t want the teen moms in the audience cheering her on no matter how much it might boost ratings,” an ABC executive tells Popeater.

The insiders add that even though Bristol has done events with Teen Mom stars Maci and Farrah in the past, she sees DWTS as a way for her to look beyond her past.
“Bristol has hit the restart button on this show,” says the insider. “We no longer think of her as Sarah Palin’s daughter or that young girl who had a baby with Levi as a teen, but rather as a young lady trying hard to win a competition.”
In other Bristol news, the 20-year-old is admitting to Inside Edition that she forgot to vote in the recent mid-term elections. “I did not send in my absentee ballots to Alaska,” Bristol, 20, said. “I’m going to be in trouble. Sorry mom!”
