A new episode of Bethenny Ever After airs tonight on Bravo at 10/9c.
On the third episode this season titled “Business as Usual,” business is booming for Bethenny but not quite fast enough when it comes to the growth of Skinnygirl Margarita. When Bethenny realizes that liquor stores are unable to replenish their supply quick enough, she enlists Jason to help to figure out the problem. Bethenny then faces the consequences of her boundary issues with other important people in her life – namely her intern Max and her broken hearted baby nurse Gina – she realizes she must find balance in all of these relationships before things spiral out of control. In other news, the always outspoken Ramona Singer had some interesting critique for her pal Bethenny Frankel, during an interview with the Miami Herald to promote her line of pinot grigio available for $13.99 at thewinebuyer.com.
But back to Ramona’s comments, as she, similar to some fans of BEA, takes issue with the way Bethenny treats her in-laws on the show. “How could she not embrace her child’s grandparents?’’ Ramona asked. “That was shocking to me.’’
And finally, Bethenny is launching her own shapewear line. It is called Skinnygirl Shapewear and includes a collection of camis, tanks, half-slips, high-waisted briefs, and leggings, complete with sexy designs and lace detailing, aimed to conceal all the unwanted bulges in all the right places.
“The line ranges from tank tops in black or beige to my signature color, red, which is a confidence color, and a little daring, but not white because it can make anyone look bigger,” Bethenny tells WWD of the collection.
But unlike the Squeez shapewear line of Bethenny’s former BFF Jill Zarin (and no, we’re not certain which line came first), Bethenny reveals her collection offers more than just panty-smoothing pieces. She describes some of the items as “lazy lingerie” such as a sexy apron with a bra, which she states is “a fun item with a little skirt you might wear for Valentine’s Day to wake up … and fix your husband breakfast in.”
The items will sell for $20-$40 and will be available on Skinnygirlshapers.com.
