PEOPLE magazine has released the official Kim Kardashian cover for her wedding issue!
PEOPLE, which reportedly paid a now estimated $1.5 million for the exclusive pics of Kimmie’s wedding, made a curious decision to exclude Kimmie’s husband Kris Kardashian Humphries from the cover. A bit of an unusual move. Perhaps the mag feels they will move more copies with just Kimmie. They gotta recoup that $1.5 mil somehow!
To go along with the images, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star also granted the mag an exclusive interview about her wedding day.
“It was like we were in heaven,” Kimmie tells PEOPLE. Mr. Kardashian adds: “I’m going to remember how perfect it was.”
Kim, 30, who wore a custom-designed Vera Wang ball gown (she wore a total of 3 Vera Wang gowns for her big day), reveals she “felt like a princess.” She however adds, “Glam aside, that wasn’t our main goal. It was really about our family and each other.” Well family and each other alongside the E! camera crew and the reporters.
In fact UsWeekly, which reported yesterday that the wedding was “awkward” due to all the camera crews, is now reporting today that Kris’ family “looked appalled” during the made for TV nuptials.
“It was so hard to take it all seriously,” says a guest. Another insider adds that Kimmie even told guests repeatedly: “This is our version of the royal wedding!” Wowzers.
A pal adds: “Everybody felt awkward, like it was all for the cameras and more like a TV show than a wedding.” And while Kris’ family “mostly looked appalled by the entire thing,” they reportedly “cheered when Kim and Kris were pronounced husband and wife.”
The new issue of PEOPLE hits newsstands Friday while the E! network will air “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event” on October 9 and 10, 2011. Below is a photo of Kimmie in her Vera Wang reception dress!

UPDATE – PEOPLE magazine’s assistant editor, Jen Garcia, defended the decision to axe Kris from the cover. Jen told Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday morning: “It’s all about the bride. We wanted her. It’s her day, we wanted her on the cover. He’s got a little height on her. It’s kind of tough to get them in the (same) shot.”
Let her eat HER cake, then OFF with her head……….so to speak

@47 Celeste – You sound so ignorant. Kim’s second husband Kris Humphries is half black. Did you notice all the black at the wedding sitting on Kris’ family side? Those are his black relatives and People Magazine has a picture of Kris’ parents, his black father and white mother.
If you look at TMZ, you will hear E! producers discussing a scripted wedding for Scott & Kourtney coming up next. You just can’t make this shyt up, lol.
So TMZ caught this family scripting this wedding.How shocking! Nothing this family does is real. They are all fake and plastic. How is Kris J going to put a spin on this issue. That picture of Kim is airbrushed to death. This family will do anything for money.

I personally cannot stand this family but if they were known to support or donate, give their time to a worthwhile charity it would make me think twice about them. With all their “influence” it is time they do something to help others in need. I have only seen one story about PimpMama starting a church (hahhaah honest) and that is it when it comes to charity. It is all about them. It is revolting.
Got my People today. Her dress is ho hum. I can see nothing special about it. There are more than 30 photos of her, her family, her guests. There is is exactly ONE small photo of his mother and father. NO pictures of his sister, who was a bridesmaid, nor his groomsmen. The cake looked gross and the whole thing looked like something you would do if you had never had any money your whole life then one day won a lottery and used it for a Hillbilly wedding.

E! just did a blurb on Kris Jenner at the wedding, and she had on a white dress – WHY? She just can’t let her daughters have their moment in the sun! She has to upstage them, violate their privacy, invade their homes…she needs to cut the cord and find someone else to boss around. Why didn’t she send them to college? They opened all those failing businesses, hooked up and got pregnant or married and just dropped all logical means of self-support…they could have at least learned business management, etc. I keep asking this question. Why didn’t she encourage it? Not one of them came from “old money” so that they could depend on inheritances, so when you aren’t blueblood or old money, you have to sweat for your money, on your back or getting peed on, I guess.
