Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo is speaking out once again, for the last time according to her, about the recent drama on the show. In a blog posted on her personal website on Sunday night, Dina appears to be taking sides and hint: it ain’t her sister’s.
Dina, found herself the topic of conversation on part II of the RHONJ reunion when her fake BFF Teresa Giudice made certain to bring up her rift with her sister Caroline Manzo.
On the reunion show, Caroline blamed Teresa for coming between her and Dina. “[Dina] was led to believe a lot of things that are not true. She has a good friend that likes to talk and she says things to her that aren’t true against me and Jacqueline [Laurita],” Caroline stated while looking directly at Teresa. “[Dina] claims I never supported her, and Teresa’s a big part of it. When you get into this world, the fame, your mind isn’t right. You drink the Kool-Aid.”
In her blog, Dina tries to come off as neutral though it’s pretty clear where she stands when she refutes Caroline’s claims that Teresa is to blame for their feud and even strongly insinuates that Caroline, Jacqueline Laurita, and their costars have been ganging up on Teresa.
Dina also confirmed what our sources told us weeks ago which is that she and Teresa are no longer close these days, and are pretty much using each other for press and publicity. Melissa Gorga confirmed the same on the reunion last night when she stated Dina and Teresa went 6 months without speaking.
Below Dina reveals she rekindled her friendship with Teresa after Teresa came crying to her following a confrontation with Caroline and Jacqueline during season 4 filming. Dina also points out that Teresa supports all of her charity and TV endeavors… Unlike Caroline?
“It wasn’t until VERY recently that Teresa showed up at my doorstep in tears…apparently Caroline & Jacqueline had a sit down with her on camera (for season 4) and she felt attacked. All I did was console a friend who was obviously shaken. I felt bad for her..even though I had distanced myself from her a bit I was still her friend and she needed me. I did miss my God daughter and the rest of her girls and I’m not proud to say that in staying away from her I had stayed away from them too. Within a few weeks I went to Teresa’s house to spend Audriana’s 2nd birthday with Teresa and her family. No camera’s, no drama just a nice family night the way things used to be…Teresa has been nothing but supportive of Project Ladybug through the years and is extremely supportive of my new show on HGTV. She tweets about it all the time AND watches when she can as a friend should.”
Dina goes on to confirm something else our source told us, which is that she did indeed film with Teresa for the upcoming 4th season despite her claims of wanting nothing to do with the show and all the drama it brings. But get this, Dina claims she filmed with Teresa by accident. Riiiight.
“Teresa then asked me to come to the launch of a new product that’s very important to her. I said yes of course but when I heard camera’s were going to be there I got a bit afraid. I had not attended any other events that were being filmed just to stay away from any potential drama that might go down. I wasn’t invited to any of them either but that’s besides the point lol. Anyway..I was so relieved when I saw on my schedule that I had an HGTV shoot that day and I would have to go late. I thought for sure the camera’s would be gone by then BUT they were not… Teresa and I briefly spoke about her broken relationship with her brother on camera. I gave her my best advice and told her to focus on all the good in her life and if her brother is meant to be a part of her life again he will be one day.”
When it comes to Teresa’s diss of her sister Caroline in her cookbook, Dina claims Teresa only meant it as a joke -
“She mentioned the drama with her and Caroline and I told her that if this is all about a joke in a book (and she assured me it was) that’s not enough for me to hate the mother of my God daughter and a friend of 15 years. Was it necessary to write that stuff in her book? probably not but I don’t think it was written with malice either. We are all guilty of joking a little too much now & then…”
As for her strained relationship with not only Caroline, but also Caroline’s kids, Dina states -
“I feel bad that my relationship with my sister and her family is strained, but I can assure you that one day it will be back to the way it was. I don’t like fighting, I don’t like drama, I don’t like confrontation, I don’t agree with ganging up on someone (one of the other reasons why I left season 2) and I don’t need to share anymore than that. I am not on this show anymore, I didn’t sign on for opening up every aspect of my life to the world for the rest of my life when I signed that Bravo contract.”
Our source insists to us that Dina has called Teresa a troublemaker on more than one occasion but refuses to let go of her friendship with Teresa due to all the press and publicity she gets from Teresa attending her events. In fact, Dina has privately mentioned that she hopes Teresa picks her Lady Bug charity as her official charity during her upcoming stint on Celebrity Apprentice.
And I must say I find it extremely ironic that Dina’s (who claims to be all about peace and no drama) only friend on the show is none other than Teresa Giudice! Let that sink in for a minute!

@443 MelissaLG. Let’s not forget that Teresa only has ONE sibling and Caroline has many. Besides, it isn’t Caroline’s fault that Dina isn’t talking to her. Dina is a bitch so it’s expected. Dina also isn’t talking to Jacqueline and is still pissed because Bravo fired her and they wouldn’t threaten to quit to keep her on the show. That’s just pure selfishness which explains her friendship with Teresa.

Like I said earlier, this show is nuts, so I am going to try to find a better way to spend my down time. CA may show Teresa once again to be a total lunatic, as she has no bonds with these people. My money is that she will be another Gary Busey,,, not a real stretch for Teresa and yet another group of people she can’t get along with. Will place money on it.
I hope the money these broads make is worth the dismantling- of their family and friends.

It was hard for Teresa to do what? To not degrade her sister-in-law on national TV? It was hard not to insult and hurt her brother with her constant jabs and rude comments about his wife? It was hard for Teresa not to say that all Joey cares about is money? It was hard to allow her husband to call her sister in law a “raccoon”, Jersey shore trash? etc.
Look, Teresa was presented with a tough situation. She didn’t want her family on the show. We all understand that. BUT Teresa made choices. She could have treated everyone respectfully. She didn’t have to sit on camera and sling mud every episode. Teresa created this mess for herself. You can’t blame Melissa or Kathy for Teresa’s words. She’s an adult. She should deal with the consequences.

It was hard for Teresa to keep the matter private, as you said she should. She did not choose to have her family come on the show and reveal all of their problems. Yes, she took some cheap shots, and said some very stupid things about her family that will always be out there for everyone to see. And, so did Melissa and Kathy! To say that she should have kept it private implies that she had a choice, and if she did, we would not know who the hell Melissa and Kathy were right now. She knew the reason her family was coming on the show, and it sure wasnt to mend fences. She knew the reason Bravo hired them was for that whole family drama to play out. What was she supposed to do? Put on her happy face and pretend nothing was wrong (like everyone criticizes her for) while her family got famous for talking badly about her? Obviously she could have handled the situation better, all of them could have. But to say she should have kept it private just does not make sense to me. That was not an option with her famewhore sister in law biting at her coattails.
I like Teresa. She’s hot and hilarious like when Melissa said Joe called her a hyenna head and she turned and said, “He didn’t call you that…he was talking about Kathy.” She doesn’t do things to be mean, she really doesn’t. I think Kathy understands and makes allowances. I think Melissa understands and pretends not too.
I like Teresa. She may not be the smartest cookie in the box, but no way is she deserving of the malice that has been slung at her. Kathy and Melissa are no angels. They were very snarky and backstabbing early on and only quit that when all the viewer comments toward them were overwhelmingly negative. They are as two faced as they come. As for Caroline— where to start—Talk about a personality disorder. Never has there been a more arrogant bully on the reality shows than Caroline Manzo. An arrogant bully without a single drop of insight into her own shortcomings, coupled with the inability to apoligize for anything she says or does. And what’s with this hypersensitivity to criticism of her beloved boys. They are hardly overachievers. She has a daughter who appears not to feel as important to her mother as her brothers. That unbelievably insensitive comment about 5 pounds of sausage in a three pound bag is a tell all comment about her priority for her sons. And what the he** is this defense of a strip car wash? Disgusting!!!! Albie and Chris appear not to have accomplished much, Mama Manzo, so Stop Bragging about them and pay attention your daughter. Leave Teresa alone. You stopped liking her when she wasn’t interested in taking your advice. If everybody could go back to that episode when Teresa politely , in a cameo, essentially told you to butt out, they would see that after that you were no longer very supportive of her. Go see a psychologist and deal with your controlling personality. You couldn’t even let Lauren buy a half gallon of milk and some cereal and proudly and smugly made some comment about always winning.. If your self worth is all wrapped up in being right all the time about everything, then you have a serious personality disorder.Get help. As for you ,Andy, you picked on Teresa for the whole reunion, and it was brutal and ridiculous. You have really slipped to the bottom half of the barrel. We viewers all know the set up is for ratings regardless of the damage to the individuals on the shows, but this time you reached a new low. Danielle Staub deserved the vilification aimed at her as all sociopaths do, but NOT TERESA and you know it . Shame on you and Bravo, especially on behalf of Gia Giudice. I agree with Tanya85, Martha and backfires…Plus it seems all these housewives shows have to have a ganged up upon member of the season, esp. RHONJ and RHOBH. It’s highschool all over again. It was truly disgusting to see all the the side expressions of Caroline whenever Teresa spoke and then Caroline’s little sidekick Melissa was watching to take her cue from Caroline. She is kissing up to the bully. Kudos to Kathy for trying really hard to be honest, yet respectful and to Teresa for holding back on the emotions. Being as emotionally driven as she is, this took great effort I am sure. Teresa was really trying to say kind things to all the women. She is short sighted when it comes to her own flaws, but she did admit she over reacted and complimented every single one of those women at least once throughout the course of the evening. And even though Melissa and Kathy explained that they didn’t mean anything by some of their actions, which DID go a long way with Teresa, they never complimented her. Teresa is not 100% perfect, but she does have redeeming qualities and she was trying during the reunion. Overly defensive, yes…as were all the women. I used to love Caroline, but now detest her. She likes whoever bows to her. She plays the saint card all too often, which is no better and even worse than Teresa’s defensiveness. And comments on her daughter’s weight…truly inexcusable. She took us women back several years by stating her daughter wasn’t beautiful because of the weight. Her daughter is gorgeous inside and out and she should have been told so!!! Shame on Caroline for that and bringinig up Gia’s song. Sure that should have never been allowed to go on…but know Teresa is sensitive about her kids and then to talk about it the way she did, the only intent in my book was malice. I don’t believe for one minute all she cared about was Gia, she went right for Teresa’s jugular. Andy was horrible too…why attack for pronunciation? It was clear he was out to humiliate Teresa. And what is sad, he did just that, in many ways. It was a witch hunt and the problem the wrong witch got hunted. I think Dina and Teresa should start their own show. Have it be all about the clothes, decorating, and over the top stuff (which is way I tune in, I love to see how others live) and Teresae passionate personality can balance out Dina’s refined one. They’s make a great team. I really hope all the bickering can stop and everyone can love each other faults and all. Time for everyone on that show to own up to their own pettiness and mend some fences. But it’s not going to happen, is it. Too bad its real peoples’ lives and not just a show.

Not a big fan of any of the NJ housewives but i was definitely disgusted w/ the reunion. I was shocked how Andy jumped on the bandwagon to attack Tre, but didn’t call anyone else out on anything! Her financial problems should NEVER be brought up! Tre obviously has a problem expressing her issues w/ anyone, she sounds like an idiot, but she didn’t do half the slamming that they did to her, including Andy(the non-bias host)Go to Stoopidhousewives.com and the truth shall set u free! Joe and Melissa don’t even own that house, there 2.25 million dollar construction loan is due July 2012 but they pay there bills, right? No one can judge Dina as far as her relationship with her sister is concerned UNTIL they themselves have been through estrangement with a member of one’s family. It is heart-breaking and too often unmendable. Cariline reminds me of a person who talks out of both sides of her mouth. I would like to know who died and left her the authority on relationships, friendships, family, conduct, trust, devotion….she has NO authority to pass on her unsolicited judgments. Dina will resolve her issues only by herself…not by you…not by me. I know what it means to have family issues and get slammed again and again. MY RESOLUTION? I HAD to move on from the toxic energy. I do believe that Dina and Carolyn wil become stronger in their relationship. No nagging, overly obnoxious, short forehead, idiot should come between them.
