Rosie Pope is shaking her head right about now.  Something tells me that Pregnant in Heels isn’t quite the same as Pregnant in Foam Platform Cheetah Flip Flops.  Perhaps it could be a spin-off though, right?  Our old friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi didn’t fare too well recently in her staple tacky platforms, taking a tumble in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.  While tripping and falling in the streets is nothing new to MTV’s favorite meatball, usually it’s due to severe intoxication.  However, no one wants to see a pregnant guidette taking a fall, given, you know, the fact she has a baby on board.

The Huffington Post reminds us that Snooki has touted her ability to walk tall (well, kind of) in heels during her pregnancy.  The site reports that she told Good Morning America not too long ago, “I feel confident in them, and I know I’m not going to fall, so until it feels very uncomfortable, I’m still going to rock them.  I’m only 24 and I’m pregnant — it doesn’t mean I need to be wearing flats and ugly shoes. I can still look good.”  Maybe not flats, but perhaps Snooki should bring back those beautiful fuzzy pink sneaker slippers as she moves into her later trimester.  We’re glad to know she’s okay though!

There is something that she wasn’t okay with, and that was revealing her pregnancy to her very protective father.  The Snookster tells that she was terrified to break the news of her impending addition to her dad.  She exclaims,”Oh, I was scared to tell my dad, of course!”

The twenty-four-year-old reality star admits that she didn’t think her father would be thrilled to hear about her unplanned pregnancy with fiance Jionni LaValle.  While he has always been fully aware of his daughter’s very wild side, her father wasn’t prepared to hear the news that he was going to be a grandfather.  Now, however, everything is better than ever.  Snooki reveals, “[My dad] is excited now. I think [my parents] are more excited than we are…I’m their only child and this is going to be their [first] grandchild.”

Snooki admits that family part of her relationship with Jionni “happened a little sooner” than the couple expected.  She’s also hoping that her new family is fodder for yet anther reality show.  Snooki explains that she’s going to defer to Jionni on that decision, telling the site, “As long as he’s comfortable with everything, I would [do a show].  If not, I might have to step back a little. Now we have a child so there are other factors involved.”

Regardless of whether her young family will be chronicled for lucky viewers, Snooki promises that she and Jionni won’t be stopping with just one child.  She wants a huge juice head family!  The meatball teases, “Girls always want their little mini-me.  I don’t know about a mini-Snooki, but definitely a girl.”  You have to admit, she’s not as stupid as she let’s on, is she?

While we’ll have to wait to hear if she and Jionni will have their own family show, at least Snooki can revel in her new series Snooki & JWoww which follows her and her biffle and Jersey Shore partner in crime Jenni Farley.  Unfortunately, the pals’ show isn’t raking in the viewers, although I doubt the dynamic duo cares too much.  They seem to sincerely love just hanging out together. reports that the girls’ spin-off debut only garnered 2.4 million viewers.  To put things in perspective, nearly three times that many people tuned in to the most recent premiere of Jersey Shore.  Given the following that both of these guidettes have accumulated during their reign on MTV, one would expect a more stellar showing.  However, while the ratings were low compared to the series that made them household names, it still ranked number one among new original series airing on Thursdays.  That’s something, right?
