We're not holding our breath, since she's been changing her story for months now. These "sources" tell Us Weekly, "Alexis was really tired of being bullied and chose home and family life over celebrity. She wanted to go back to her simple life in Orange County."
Between the reports of Jim wanting Alexis to quit, Alexis claiming Bravo definitely wanted her for the next season, and Alexis telling Bravo she wanted to include and invoke a buddy clause in her new contract, who can keep it all straight?

Alexis is remaining tight-lipped on the situation. So, there are several scenarios that could be playing out here.
1. Alexis really is leaving the show and is done with all of the mean girl antics and hopes to focus on building her trampoline empire. But then I'd think she'd be the one to say "yes, I'm out of here" and not leave it to "sources close to the reality star say…". And she'd be out giving interviews to anyone willing to listen and give her press to promote her endeavors.
2. Alexis is planting these stories, hoping Bravo will be nervous enough about the threat of her leaving and offer her more money and perhaps allow her to bring along a friend.
3. One of her cast mates is planting the stories, hoping it'll inspire Bravo's producers to consider ditching her for season 8 so said cast mate can find a new Housewife to bully.
