I am not sure if I know any family that loves famewhoring and lawsuits more than those krazy Kardashians. I think they'd literally shrivel up if they weren't constantly surrounded by paparazzi and tabloid fodder and legal pleadings
and vapidness. In the divorce that has drawn out longer than the actual marriage, Kris Humphries will finally have his day in court. However, Kim Kardashian won't be there…she's got perfume to promote, y'all! Priorities. Duh.
In other Kardashian/Jenner news, the family that fames together files claims together (sorry, that was bad). Remember when Robert Kardashian's widow sold his diary? Yeah, that's coming back to bite her in the arse.

Kim and Kris' divorce trial is set for May 6, but one important party will be absent on the first day of the proceedings. According to TMZ, Kim is excused from the first day because she had a prior commitment…and it's a very important commitment. She's due in New York City for an appearance for her fragrance line.
Reportedly, Kim's attorney tried to push the trial up a few days so Kim could be there, but the judge had a scheduling conflict. Kris' witnesses will be up first after opening arguments, the judge has excused Kim from the first day. This could end up being the trial of the year!
And speaking of infamous trials, Robert Kardashian was, of course, one of the attorneys who defended O.J. Simpson in his murder trial. Now, the deceased father of the Kardashian brood is back in the news for a damning diary in which he accuses Kris Jenner of some pretty heinous things. The same site reveals that Kris is suing her ex-husband's widow for releasing the diary, claiming that the journal was left solely to her children in Robert's will. The suit alleges that the release of the diary by Robert's widow is copyright infringement. Kris is asking the court to have the diary and other photo albums returned to her children…oh, and of course damages.
As you recall, the journal entries paint Kris as an awful mother and adulterer who hit her two older daughters and once threatened Kim's life. Robert also wrote that Kris on one occasion Kris locked son Rob in a car so she could go on a date. Interestingly enough, Kris is the one filing the suit, but she owns no stake in the diary. Also, if someone said such horrible things about you, wouldn't you want to sue them for defamation–not copyright infringement–if the statements were untrue? How very C&C Music Factory of Kris.
Things that make you go hmmmmm…
