Real Housewives of Miami’s Lisa Hochstein Is A U.S. Citizen!

Congrats are in order for Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein!  She has followed in the footsteps of fellow housewife Yolanda Foster and is now officially a United States citizen!

Lisa shared her happy news on Twitter this week. She writes, "So excited to announce I just passed my US citizen test!"  Lisa will be officially sworn in sometime next week and she's pretty excited, to say the least.  "I will be officially sworn in Next week. Proud to call myself an American Today! Now I will be able to vote!"

Lisa was originally born in Canada but has lived in Miami with husband Lenny for years now and feels that while she still loves Canada, the U.S. is her home. "I will always love Canada! Looks like I can be a dual citizen! Best of both worlds."

While we got to see Yolanda study for her test and celebrate when she passed on episodes of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it doesn't look like we'll be able to see Lisa's journey.  Bravo still hasn't given the official word on whether or not the show is canceled and it doesn't appear the cast has done any filming in the meantime.  The upfront presentations are next week, but I'm not holding my breath for an announcement either way.

Congrats to Lisa on her citizenship!
