After the new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra Judge made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live tonight – along with Odd Mom Out comedienne Abby Elliott. Tamra dished on her co-stars – past and present – with Andy Cohen.
They kick things off with a game where Tamra weighs in on situations in the OC. On Brooks living with Vicki, she says “that’s a Vicki problem.” On Shannon Beador and David, she says she knew about the affair and does think Shannon was right to forgive him since they’ve been married for so long. On whether Meghan Edmonds is a good fit for the show, “she’s the best bitch on there.”
While mom’s away, the kids will play! It’s a Gorga-Giudice pool party! Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have been wondering if Teresa Giudice’s kids were seeing their cousins, Joe and Melissa Gorga’s kids, while she’s in prison. It looks like we now know the answer!
Melissa posted this photo of all seven kids – Gia, Gabriella, Milania, Audriana, Antonia, Gino and Joey – on Instagram, writing “Cousin Love.” It so great to see the kids having a blast together. I have a feeling that they probably see each other more than we know, but keep it off of social media.
No more Millionaire Matchmaker, y’all! Patti Stanger announced this afternoon that after eight years of match making, she’s parting ways with Bravo TV. If you’re a Patti fan, she won’t be gone for long. She’s moving to a new network!
Patti Tweeted, “After 8 seasons I’ve decided to leave @Bravotv Thank u 4 the great ride. Stay tuned for exciting news as I move to a wonderful new network!”
As many of you already know, the community on Reality Tea has been playing a weekly game of reality TV trivia for a while now. We want to give you guys a dedicated post for the game each week, and here is this week’s gathering place! Start cruising the old Real Housewives of New Jersey threads so you can refresh your memory for tonight’s community trivia challenge! Tonight’s questions: Real Housewives of New Jersey – Part 2. The fun starts at 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST.
Disclaimer: This is a fun community game that is organized by our commenters. It’s just a fun way to test your reality TV knowledge and pass the time with your fellow reality TV fans on a Friday (or Saturday) night. If you don’t like it, move along to a different post and don’t play…simple as that. In other words, don’t email with complaints, protests and the like if you don’t agree with or enjoy any piece of the game. Comment policy still applies.
On Doridna and Luann and that f—ing dinner. “What the f— happened!!!??? Lu and Dorinda are drunkity-drunk-drunk-drunk! It was fun to see Lu let loose and have fun but Dorinda… Hello, she needs subtitles? How dirty was that martini? Very odd. Dorinda and Heather has some underlying issues going on, that’s for sure.”
She starts off confessing that she came across like a smarty pants. “Although I stand by what I was saying at lunch, I am self-aware and did see that I was particularly aggressive and acting like a know-it-all. That doesn’t change that it was funny how lit up Heather got by it. We had just made up and were in a good place and she couldn’t help jumping on that.”
I’ve never been as emotionally moved as I was last night watching the Real Housewives of Orange County. Watching as Vicki Gunvalson learned of the passing of her beloved mom, Joanne, was heartbreaking and something I hope we never have to watch a Housewife go through again. For all of the cries of “fakery” on reality shows, I think this was one of the rawest moments we’ve seen.
Vicki took to her Bravo blog to pay tribute to her mom. And she also sat down with Andy Cohen to give a brief interview about her loss. We’ve included that video down below. Get your tissues before you watch it.
We’re looking for a few freelance reality TV news writers. No previous experience necessary, other than a considerable amount of knowledge of your favorite shows and stars.
To apply for a paid freelance spot, send me a list of the reality shows and stars that you’d consider yourself an almost-expert on (both on air and behind the scenes) and also include a sample reality news article. Email the info/sample, along with your weekly availability/number of articles willing and able to cover, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
L.A. & NYC Correspondents At Large:
Do you live near L.A. or NYC? Do you love attending celeb soirees and rubbing elbows with the reality stars, supporting their events and product launches? We’re looking for several ‘correspondents at large’ to represent Reality Tea at various functions. The job would vary depending on the event, but would often include taking photos and blogging/recapping your experience and sometimes doing brief on-site interviews. If you have an interest – with or without experience – drop us an email of interest. This is only for those who live close by – we are not covering travel expenses on this one.
Are you a reality TV fan looking for that first step into the world of TV recap writing? If you’ve always wanted to try your hand at recapping and have been looking for a place to start, we might be the perfect fit for you! Reality Tea is looking for coverage on several reality shows that we just don’t have the time or staff to cover. While these will be unpaid recaps, it’s a great opportunity to add to your resume.
A few of the shows we’re in need of recappers to cover:
Don’t Be Tardy – returns in August
Teen Mom 2
Bachelor In Paradise
Braxton Family Values
Keeping Up With the Kardashians
Bad Girls Club
Basketball Wives (season 4 starts soon)
T.I. & Tiny: the Family Hustle
Others not listed
To pitch us on recapping your favorite show, send a sample recap our way by emailing me at email@example.com! Please remember that we’re not just looking for the funniest, snarkiest recaps – we want to hear your voice shining through! At Reality Tea we like to have a range of writing styles and viewpoints, so just be you!
