Just when you thought all was well with Jon Gosselin and ex-wife Kate Gosselin, comes news that Jon is planning to sue Kate for primary custody of their eight children.
Jon’s new lawyer, Anthony F. List, tells TMZ that Jon is going to court to ask for primary physical custody and spousal support from Kate.
The reason? Well apparently Jon believes Dancing With The Stars is keeping Kate from being a good mother, with his lawyer calling Kate an “absentee mom.” And Jon plans to use the fact that Kate is doing DWTS as evidence that Kate is not spending “quality time with the 8 kids.”
Another issue on the table is the amount of child support Jon is having to pay Kate. Jon’s lawyer reveals Jon is currently paying Kate an enormous $22,000 a month in child support. The attorney feels the amount is “ridiculous,” and may ask a judge to reverse the arrangement and demand that Kate pay Jon.
Kate has however said in previous interviews that she’s only away from her kids from Sundays to Tuesdays, as most of her practicing is done at her house in Pennsylvania.
UPDATE: Kate has issued the following statement – “I am not willing to comment in public on the custody discussions regarding my children. What I will say is this: I am and always will be a mother first, but as a single working mom I will do everything necessary to provide for my kids despite the opinions of others.”
TELL US – DOES JON HAVE A CASE? IS IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR KATE TO BE A GOOD MOM AND DO DWTS?
The Real Housewives of New York City star tweeted days ago, “honeymoon is magical!” Paparazzi caught up with Bethenny as she honeymooned in St. Barts. And despite being eight months pregnant, Bethenny wasn’t shy about throwing on a bikini. More photos of Bethenny’s honeymoon are below.
On Why She Was Upset About The Article – “There is so much nonsense, and I signed up for it. I will never act like some victim. Don’t hate the player. Hate the game. I just didn’t like feeling that a friend had discussed our private matters with everyone in the world besides me… I didn’t care about the item. I cared about how it got there.”
Her Feelings On Jill’s Email To Kelly – “Jill’s email to Kelly is all part of the “get a hobby” advice. Who even has time to worry about who other people are associating with? I can’t even get over how juvenile picking teams is. I can’t even dignify it with an opinion. it truly doesn’t affect my life whatsoever.”
Her Thoughs On Jill’s Behavior – “As I’ve said on the show, Jill has never met an argument she doesn’t like. When she feels she has a case, she continues to belabor that point to rally troops against her enemy of the moment. For various reasons, she was very excited to have something to use against me over and over again. Everyone has their way of operating and this is how Jill functions.”
Her Feelings On LuAnn – “I wasn’t surprised at all to find out that Jill allowed LuAnn to listen to our conversation. I don’t expect anything whatsoever from LuAnn, so I am never disappointed nor surprised.”
And there you have it. Bethenny also added she has no hope whatsoever for a reconciliation with Jill. Can you blame her?

Taking the lead this week for the first time this season is Olympic Ice Skater Evan Lysacek, who earned a score of 25 for his high energy quick step dance. Evan’s high score was all the more impressive considering he was dancing on two broken toes. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba called his dance “twinkling, athletic and energetic.”
Tying for second place were ESPN reporter Erin Andrewsand PussyCat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. Both ladies received a 23 score for their dances. Erin vowed not to let the death threats get in the way of her dancing, and she had one of the most entertaining performances of the night when she did the waltz while blindfolded with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Carrie Ann called the dance “Breathtakingly artistic.” Nicole also had a solid dance with partner Derek Hough, but the judges deducted points citing they broke two rules of the quick step.
The lowest score of the night once again went to 80 year old Buzz Aldrin, who was accused of just sort of walking through his dance. For the third week in a row, the second lowest score of the night went to Kate Gosselin, though her partner Tony Dovolani had predicted the “Paso Doble is going to be Kate’s best dance.” Kate received a poor 15 points for what Carrie Ann called an “odd” dance. It will be interesting to see if Kate will be saved once again when the results show airs tonight as 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
Kate was also shown having a small meltdown during one of her dance practices. The mom of eight just was shown crying for no reason in particular. However in a new interview with ABC, Kate reveals her reason for tearing up. “I had a little meltdown,” she said. “And I heard [my kids] upstairs. And I just started crying. And I was like, ‘I just miss my kids.’” Allrighty Kate.
Tonight marks the 3rd week of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. In what is being called the best season yet, the stars will not only have to dance tonight, but their dance will also have to tell a story.

Erin Andrews Death Threats – It seems Erin Andrews cannot catch a break. Just weeks after her stalker was sentenced to over 2 years in prison, the ESPN reporter is now having to deal with another nut. TMZ broke the story on Friday that Erin had been the recipient of several death threats. The threats, which started out as sexual, apparently turned violent a few months ago. The emails which started late last year, were being sent to the Dan Patrick Show. Erin and her lawyer were however just notified last week. The good news is that the FBI knows the identity of the man, and security has been provided for Erin and her family. Erin has vowed to keep on dancing, telling PEOPLE, “I’m glad I’m here. I have a dance on Monday and I don’t want to let Maks down, I don’t want to let my family down, and I don’t want to let myself down,” she says. “I’m not going to stop living my life.”
Evan Lysacek Injury – It also came out this week that Olympic Ice Skater Evan Lysacek is injured with two broken toes. Evan however vows to not let the injury get in the way of his quickstep dance tonight. “As for my toes, I’m not worried. I will tape them up and hit the floor with the same 100 percent effort I give in training. I will not let them steal my thunder! A little pain won’t keep me off the ice, nor will it keep me off the dance floor,” said Evan.
Kate Gosselin’s Best Dance? – Kate Gosselin’s partner Tony Dovolaniis making a big prediction for tonight. The professional dancer is predicting tonight will be Kate’s best ever. “Paso Doble is going to be Kate’s best dance :)” Tony, 37, tweeted on Saturday. Then again, this shouldn’t be a difficult task to accomplish considering Kate has received the second lowest scores for her two previous dances.
In other DWTS, country star Reba McEntire will be performing on Tuesday’s result show. Pamela Anderson, who was in the bottom two last week, is said to be getting a bit of help this week. The former Baywatch babe has been getting some help from Spanish born entertainer Charoaccording to UsWeekly. We will get to see the results of that combo tonight.

There seems to be a trend with Bravo Housewives when they decide to write a book, they tend to reveal some rather TMI details about their lives. First Nene Leakes revealed she used to be a stripper in her book Never Make the Same Mistake Twice, and there’s no telling what New Jersey Housewives’ Danielle Staub will reveal in her upcoming book – The Naked Truth. It is now however Alex McCord’sturn.
The Real Housewives of New York City star has decided to share some rather interesting tidbits in her new parenting book, Little Kids Big City: Tales From a Real House in New York City, set to hit the stands tomorrow April 6th.
The NYDailyNews got their hands on an except from the book during which Alex shares some rather controversial details about her pregnancy. She has two sons with hubby Simon Van Kempen. “Throughout my pregnancy, I gave into every craving I felt,” admits Alex. “When I wanted to have a drink, I did.”
And it doesn’t end there. Alex also reveals she actually drank the night she went into labor with Francois. She sipped on champagne as Simon escorted her to the hospital.
Alex then shares that she and Simon spent most of their time with the boys, “We’re very lucky that we’re able to pay our nanny extra for two evenings a week to go out,” shares Alex.
A “source” however claims the husband and wife duo go out way more than two nights a week. “They definitely go out A LOT during the week,” says the source. “They’ll go to practically any event to be seen.”
In a new interview with PopWatch, Rob speaks out on Tyson’sdumb move, Coach’s betrayal, and his thoughts on Russell as a player.
Excerpts from that below -
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Point blank: Did Russell outplay you? ROB MARIANO: Did Russell outplay me? It seems as if Russell got the better of me. At the end of the day, he was able to convince Jerri to vote with him and Coach didn’t stand up and do what he said he was going to do, and therefore I’m sitting here talking to you. Russell — very entertaining, I give him credit. I wouldn’t want him on my team ever! I wanted him gone from the outset. But I’m the one here talking to you, so he got me.
How much of an advantage do you think he had with no one having seen him play before?
Well, it cuts both ways. He has an advantage in that people are gonna give him the benefit of the doubt. Myself, I realized that 20 seasons in, you have 10 people that are considered the most villainous to ever play the game, and here’s a guy from the most recent season, so he had to do something so outlandish to get picked over all those other contestants. So to me, it’s a no brainer. This kid, you got to keep an eye on him. And then when you look at him and he looks at you with those beady eyes and doesn’t blink, and can’t give you a straight answer — look, I played poker. I can read him. I knew he was bad for business. But at the end of the day, he got me, so I can’t give it to him too hard about it.
Coach actually appeared to take the easiest path possible in not voting for you, yet casting a vote that he knew ensured you going home. That seems like he was almost trying to not own up to his decision.
I think he’s a guy that was conflicted and he didn’t have it in him to do the right thing in this situation. So, it’s bad for me because it makes me go home, but he’s the one who has to live with it. Essentially, the turning point for me was not even that, it was the week before with Tyson switching his vote. Because here it is, Dalton: You lay out a foolproof plan, it can’t fail, there’s no way anybody in our alliance goes home, there’s no way Coach or Jerri are at risk, and you go another way for what reason? It doesn’t make any sense to me. Look, Russell took a shot. It was a gamble. It was a big gamble, it paid off and it makes him look great. It doesn’t necessarily mean that his play was correct. In poker, you can do the right thing and still lose. He did the wrong thing and ended up winning and looks like a genius, but in actuality it’s not a play I will ever make myself or applaud. But having said, that I’m the one sitting here and he’s still in the game, so I can’t take that away from him.
What’s the first thing you said to Tyson when you met up with him at Ponderosa?
I can’t say that. [Laughs.] Since then, we’re reconciled. For me, I just wanted to know why. It didn’t make any sense. It was the first time ever in the three times I played Survivor, even counting Marquesas when I went home — it was the first time I ever went to Tribal Council and things did not go the way I expected them to go, And to me, it was a total shock, because when I go to Tribal Council, I know what’s going to happen. The person going home is always the person I think is going home. So I wanted to know why, and to be honest, at the time, he didn’t really have an answer for me. He was basically like, “I screwed up.”
Rob also gave an interview with UsWeekly where he talks about Amber and his family. Excerpts from that below -
Us: Have you and Amber already blown through the $1 million winnings from Survivor: All Stars? Well, we paid our taxes, bought a house, put money away for our daughter and lost money in the stock market like everybody else. So yes!
Us: Your five-year wedding anniversary is April 16. What have you got planned?
We have a tradition of spending it at the beach. We met on a beach and got married on a beach. I just don’t know which beach we’re going to yet. But for the first time, there will be three of us.
Us: How is parenthood going?
I love it. Amber loves it. Lucia turns nine months on Sunday and she’s getting big! She’s crawling and getting ready to take her first steps. She’ll go from the coffee table to the ottman but doesn’t have the courage to let go yet.
