Bethenny Getting Married?

Bethenny Frankel

Bethenny Frankel is dunzo!

The Real Housewives of New York City star has officially quit the show that made her a star, reports the new issue of UsWeekly.

“Last season was scary and painful,” she tells the magazine about the reason she rejected Bravo’s offers to return for season 4, which is scheduled to begin filming on Sept. 20. “It took all of the joy out of it.”

This decision by Bethenny doesn’t exactly come as a shocker as she has another hit show on Bravo, Bethenny Getting Married, a show that doesn’t require her to try to decode the incoherent ramblings of NYC co-star Kelly Bensimon.

Bethenny, who welcomed daughter Bryn Hoppy in May with husband Jason Hoppy tells UsWeekly she doesn’t “see any reason to go back.”

Despite Bethenny quitting the show, viewers can still expect to see her when the 4th season of the NYC Housewives returns. Why? Well a Bravo insider tells UsWeekly that Bethenny is still contractually bound to make a few appearances on RHONY next season, though Bravo is still hoping that she’ll return full-time.

Could money have played a part in Bethenny’s decision? Hollyscoop reported just last week that Bethenny was in negotiations to return to the show. Either way, I can’t say I blame Bethenny. I’m not certain Bravo could pay me enough money to go on vacation with the nutty Kelly and mean girl Jill. I think this will definitely impact the show though. Bethenny not appearing on RHONY would be equivalent to Nene Leakes leaving the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

After months of saying she was open to having baby #2, it seems Bethenny Frankel has had a change of heart.

The Bethenny Getting Married star, who is reportedly in negotiations to return to the Real Housewives of NYC, tells Parade.com in a new interview that she does not want another baby. “Jason wants to have another baby, and I don’t. So that’s another problem,” said Bethenny when asked if she was already trying for a new baby.

Bethenny however makes it clear just how much she adores her baby girl Bryn Hoppy, who is now a healthier 9 1/2 pounds at three and a half months old.

“Bryn’s a big pink baby now,” said Bethenny to Parade while hosting a press conference for drugstore.com. “Bryn likes pink — it’s her new favorite color. She is really growing up, and it is making me upset.”

And when it comes to her favorite pastime with baby Bryn, Bethenny shares, “We sing for an hour every day. I sing to her, and Bryn sings back. We sing Rihanna, Pink, gangsta rap.”

In other Bethenny news, the NYDailyNews is reporting today that during the Drugstore event, Bethenny took a swipe at her fellow Bravo housewife Danielle Staub.

Danielle, who has been fired from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, has told the press she is working on a solo reality show. It seems however that Bethenny, the only Bravo housewife to get her own solo spin off show on the network, is not willing to share that title, well at least not with Danielle.

“I’ll bet everything I hope to be that she will not have a spinoff on Bravo,” is what Bethenny is quoted as saying. Ouch.

It seems before becoming a popular and successful reality star, Bethenny Frankel tried her hand at becoming famous way back in the 90s. Celebslam has uncovered Bethenny’s brief stint in acting, as she was the lead actress in a low budget 1994 movie, titled Hollywood Hills 90028.

Hollywood Hills 90028 stars Bethenny Frankel as Laura, who moves to Hollywood Hills, CA, as the movie begins. She has no personal ties to anyone, but soon becomes obsessed with the nerdy Mike (David Kenneth). Mike is so thankful to have the interest of such an alluring woman that he never notices how intense her passion is — even when bad things start happening to people Mike knows.

Bethenny’s IMDB page also shows she starred in another low budget movie titled ‘Wish Me Luck‘ in 1995. The shocking part however is that the Bethenny Getting Married star went topless in the movie role. Censored pictures of a topless Bethenny in the movie are below.

In other news, Bethenny is making headlines after slamming supermodel Gisele Bundchen for the comments she made about breast feeding.

It all started a few weeks ago when the supermodel mom, 30, opined to Harper’s Bazaar UK mag that “there should be a worldwide law…that mothers should breast-feed their babies for six months.” Gisele received a lot of negative feedback from mothers and she eventually backed down, blogging on August 2, “Everyone has their own experience…I’m not here to judge.”

“It’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard,” retorts Bethenny of Gisele in the new Us Weekly. Adding that “breastfeeding is one of the most rewarding experiences, but it isn’t for everyone.”

Jill Zarin is baaaack! After an unfavorable season on the Real Housewives of NYC , the reality star has been slowly but surely making her way back in the limelight.

When Jill is not busy inviting camera crews to go shopping with she and her daughter Allyson, she’s busy giving out interviews in an attempt to promote um ummm, oh who cares! She has herself to promote!

In her latest interview with RadarOnline, Jill shares that she has yet to meet cast-mate Bethenny Frankel’s baby. “I’m not involved with her life anymore. I haven’t met the baby.” Jill also states she has yet to reconcile with Bethenny saying she called her after the reunion show taping. “I called and she didn’t call back. I do have a baby gift waiting for her when I do see her.”

And when it comes to her actions on the Bravo hit show, Jill is still distressed that people got to see her true colors. “Why did [the storyline with Bethenny] last nine episodes or whatever? It was only two or three weeks in real time when I was mad at Bethenny and then I wanted to make up and that was sort of extended for six months or something.”

When asked if she will be back for another season, Jill pretends says she has a lot of mixed feelings. “On the one hand I think it’s a great platform for my brand but also for my charities. But on the other hand, it really put my family through the ringer. Put me through the ringer.”

The season finale of Bethenny Getting Married is set to air tonight on Bravo.

Despite the show’s high ratings, Bravo has yet to announce a second season, though it is likely there will be a season two.  This season has brought us a wedding and the birth of Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy‘s first child.

In tonight’s episode, as Bethenny (slowly but surely!) adjusts to motherhood, her emotions take over when she must leave Bryn overnight to head out of town on business.  With her new priorities, Bethenny is in tears as she heads out the door, leaving Bryn and Jason back in NYC.  Luckily, once she’s back the new family heads for a vacation out in Montauk.  Bringing along the whole crew, the baby nurse, Julie and Max, the trip is off to a rocky start when Jason and Bethenny realize they’ve forgotten a place for Bryn to sleep, along with many other essential baby items.

In other Bethenny news, just a week after some of the Real Housewives of DC called Bethenny their role model, the Real Housewives of NYC star is dishing out some advice to the DC ladies.

When asked by the HollywoodLife what she would like to tell the DC ladies, Bethenny says:  “Be true to yourselves and don’t manufacture who you want to be on the show” she advises. “It’s not fool’s gold — you don’t go on television to be rich, famous and successful . You have to have something to back it up.”

She also advises the ladies to keep their kids away from the cameras as much as possible:  “Look at what happened in Jersey,” Bethenny said “I haven’t really been watching, but I hear one of the Jersey daughters [Ashley] is in a fight with one of the Housewives [Danielle].”

“I would say keep your kids out of it as much as possible,” Bethenny suggested. “You’ve got to be an adult and know how to deal with it.”

Bethenny also took the time to thank DC Housewives Stacie Turner and Mary Amons for referring to her as their role model.  “I think it’s really nice that the D.C. housewives say I’m the housewife role model,” Bethenny said. “That’s flattering and so nice!”
