It would take A LOT to get me to stop watching Real Housewives shows. Still, I don’t think that they are all as good as they used to be. One show that makes me really miss its original cast and plot lines is Real Housewives of Atlanta. Sheree Whitfield, NeNe Leakes, and Kim Zolciak’s friendships were straight up iconic. Thankfully, Sheree is back on RHOA, but what about NeNe and Kim? Will they return? It seems the powers-that-be are hoping they will!
Please. Please. Please. We need the original trio back together to knock down the inflated egos of the current cast members. Let’s make this show iconic again.
NeNe, Kim, and Sheree had so many ups and downs that there was honestly no need to have anyone else in the cast. With that said, it’s crazy that they all seem to be over all of the past drama. It was surprising last season on RHOA when NeNe crashed the group vacation and got along perfectly with former frienemy Sheree and it’s also crazy how Sheree and Kim were able to put their issues behind them and actually be friends again.
We’ve been ranking all the Real Housewives from every season, every franchise and its finally down to the final few. The queens of Bravo, if you will. Click here for Part 1 and Part 2 of our ranking.
What separates a good Housewife from a great one? For me, it’s the longevity of their dramas. Will their actions or comments forever define a franchise as Teresa Giudice‘s table flip did for New Jersey, or NeNe Leakes‘ “Close your legs to married men, Wig!” on Atlanta? A great Housewife doesn’t necessarily have to be likable, but she does have to be memorable, and defining. When you think of a particular show which Housewife comes to mind.
Considering that the Atlanta Falcons were playing in the big game, it’s not super surprising that the Real Housewives of Atlanta stars turned up in Houston to support the team. NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey were back on their best friend game at Super Bowl events together and Porsha Williams even took part in a charity basketball game.
I’m confused by why it was a charity basketball game and not a game of touch football, but it’s philanthropy, so I’m not going to question it further. Even though the Falcons lost, they at had a lot of hometown support from the RHOAladies.
When you grow up with a mom who’s made her entire fortune on the promise of reality TV exposure and paychecks, I guess it’s only natural to follow in her footsteps. Even if those footsteps map out a road to early and questionable plastic surgeries, partially-nude selfies, and fame-chasing! Brielle Biermann, Don’t Be Tardy star and daughter of Real Housewives Of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciack-Biermann, is no exception.
Brielle and boyfriend Michael Kopech, a White Sox pitching prospect, recently visited the windy city – and Brielle fell in love! With Chicago, that is. She posted the above pic, captioning it “obsessed with you and chicago.” So, what’s the next natural step? Requesting a Real Housewives of her very own!
This Real Housewives of Atlanta has to be the toughest one yet for Kandi Burruss. She is really in the thick of it going against the self-proclaimed “Frick and Frack” duo Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams. Not only are these two arguing with Kandi whenever possible, but they’re really pushing the Kandi and Shamea Morton lesbian affair rumors. As scandalous as that all is, the saddest part of this season is seeing how far Kandi and Phaedra have come from their former best friendship. Kandi even thinks their relationship is worse thanks to the show.
I feel like Kandi is going to have a lot to address whenever they film the RHOAreunion this year. She is somehow involved in just about every story line this year minus the beyond annoying battle between Chateau Sheree and Moore Manor. So of course, Kandi has a lot to say about the drama so far this season.
Reality Tea is ranking of every, single Housewife from every, single season from almost every Real Housewives franchise. You can find Part 1 of our rankings here. Now we finally return with Part 2 (aka the big ole mush in the middle)!
In Part 1 we mostly covered most Housewives who were either too crazy to be legit, or didn’t make much of an impact, or were just so miscast and off it was painful. Some of them were too nice, or too timid, or not rich enough, or too desperate. If she’s only a Housewife for a season, there’s usually a reason!
This week, Cynthia talked to Matt Jordan on Kenya‘s behalf, which was a nice thing to do, but when she reported back to Kenya by calling her “dramatic” and implying that she had somehow caused Matt’s violence, Kenya was not having it. Now Cynthia is defending her behavior. The convo that Cynthia had with Matt wasn’t too bad. Her loyalty was clear and she seemed to genuinely care for both parties involved. Nevertheless, things got messy when Cynthia recapped it with Kenya.
