Shannon reminded us that we only see a snippet of what is filmed and filled us in on what wasn’t shown. “We all had a fun day together in Napa and everyone was getting along. On the drive to the Bello’s beautiful home, Meghan and Jim brought up the charity party they were hosting the following week,” she shared. “They both asked me questions about an event I hosted for the same charity some months prior. I answered the questions. I gave them suggestions. It was a given in the conversation that everyone on the bus would be attending the party. In addition, I had received a “Save the Date” email for the charity event.”
Meghan snubbed Shannon Beador by not inviting her to her charity cocktail party, even though Shannon assumed she was invited. Meghan was puzzled as to where Shannon would get the impression she was welcome in their home, but Shannon retaliated on by calling Meghan out saying she got an email formally inviting her to the party. So there!
Meghan quickly shot back accusing Shannon of lying, but Meghan was then schooled by her veteran Housewives on how the whole filming process works. Silly wabbit – twitter tricks are for kids, let the big girls show you how it’s done!
The OG of the OC has spoken, and she is no fan of Real Housewives of Orange County’s newbie, Meghan Edmonds. In her blog, Vicki Gunvalson defends her decision to stick by fellow housewife Shannon Beador after Meghan excluded Shannon from her charity event. “This week’s episode shows that it is evident Meghan is definitely trying to be relevant amongst these women,” snarks Vicki. “For her to feel compelled to exclude Shannon out of her party I don’t think was right.”
“When I decided not to go to the charity event and instead be with Shannon, it’s because I didn’t want Shannon to feel all alone that night. Knowing that all the girls would be together and Shannon not being invited would have been very hurtful to her. I would have expected one of them to do the same for me,” explains Vicki. Uh, if Vicki is expecting these “girls” to stick by her in times of trouble, she might want to take a life insurance policy out on hell freezing over. She maintains, though, that “True friends are there for you when ‘life happens’, whether it be a sickness, loss of a job, death of a loved one, relationship struggles or anything else. This is when you see the true colors of a friend, it’s how they act when difficult situations occur.”
Last night on Real Housewives Of Orange County the ladies put aside their differences, pettiness, and spite in the name of philanthropy. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
In Napa, at the Bello’s fabulous mansion, celebrating COLLETTE, the fabulous non-champagne occupying the niche market of Methode Champenoise, aka sparkling wine coolers, drama is ensuing. When in fabulous surroundings, act not fabulous! Shannon Beador and Meghan KING Edmonds are arguing over being non-charitable regarding Meghan’s wine fundraiser for juvenile diabetes (because nothing says diabetic and kids like wine!).
Meghan doesn’t understand why Shannon doesn’t want to help her host this event, because although Meghan is tall enough to reach the sky, she has difficulty understanding that the world doesn’t revolve around her. I mean, OF COURSE Shannon would want to help some young upstart third wife of a has-been athlete, because charity starts at home among your RHOC kin. DUH!
Heather Dubrow is officially part of the Bravo Home Shopping Network. Now that she is the proud owner of a new sparking wine, Collette, she’s no longer hawking her sit-coma guest acting career.
Reflecting on the Collette launch party weekend in Napa, which featured plenty of drama amid her Real Housewives Of Orange County co-stars, Heather explains she did everything possible to make sure everyone had great time, but alas, when Housewives and alcohol mix there’s only so far good hostessing and “trouble shooting” can go! However, she’s choosing to focus on the positives and her own impeccable success as a great hostess.
“This week you don’t see much of me other than packing for my trip to Florida,” says Vicki. “Every year my FMO holds an awards banquet based on the previous year’s production and I was proud to be acknowledged as one of the top producers in the Insurance & Financial Services industry. After my conference was done, I flew Briana and Ryan and their two boys from Oklahoma to Disneyworld and we spent another five days together. I just love being with my grandkids, Briana, and Ryan so there was no place I’d rather be…even Napa with the ladies.”
“What do you think of my blog post? Spot on or way off?” tweeted Meghan King Edmonds yesterday. The new girl in town has already begun stirring up trouble on the Real Housewives of Orange County. Although she doesn’t see it that way! In her blog, Meghan explains (and explains…and explains) why she was “floored” by Shannon Beador’s reaction to her in this week’s trip to Napa. Meghan also reiterates her mad love for Tamra Judge, and confesses that watching Shannon and David’s marriage issues play out on TV makes her “squirm.”
After praising Wheels Up, the private jet company that flew the ladies out to Heather Dubrow’s Collette party in Napa (hubby Jim is an investor), Meghan gushes about the janky homemade craft projects she foisted upon the women. “It’s true, I really do love to put my own personal touch on parties and special occasions so it will come as no surprise to those who know me that I hand-painted wine glasses. Hayley and her mom, LeAnn, helped me paint and it was so funny because we couldn’t really figure out what we were doing and made several duds before perfecting the process!” Aww, did Jimmy take Meghan to “Color Me Mine” for a playdate?
Shannon Beador has placed her marriage under a microscope this season of the Real Housewives of Orange County, and in her blog this week, she confesses she’s not too happy with the response she’s been getting to this grand experiment. In fact, she takes a few paragraphs to defend her behavior – and her choice to air her dirty laundry on TV – before launching into her take on this week’s episode.
“I am going to have to start before the episode even began. I noticed the title was ‘Whine Country’. Really?” Shannon begins, “I want to be very clear. I am not happy or excited about talking about my husband’s infidelity or the painful year plus that my family and I went through. But I happen to be on a reality show, I am honest, and we thought that sharing our story may help other couples in a similar situation.”
