Jim tells Joe Gorga, “I work with the same f**king attorney general that is prosecuting your brother, you dumbf**k.” Radar contacted the United States Attorneys’ office to ask about the claims James is making. They denied knowing him. “First of all, this man is incorrect. The Attorney General isn’t prosecuting the Giduices. The United States Attorneys’ Office is. As for the claims made by this man, we have never heard of him!”
“I wanted to clarify a few things from last week before I get into the details of this episode, especially after reading the twins’ blogs (I can’t help myself). The only thought that comes to mind with them is… chill out! None of us should take ourselves so seriously, especially considering we signed up for a reality show. I really hope everyone can see that I like to cut up and have fun,” Amber encourages. “I am giggling the entire time during my interviews. There will be moments that I tease others and moments that I get teased, nothing more than good-spirited fun. We are not curing cancer, nor am I conducting my oral thesis for a PHD.”
In Sunday’s episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey they celebrated Christmas and Teresa gave her daughters a puppy. Teresa reveals that the holiday spirit was in everyone and that she is getting along with Joe Gorga.
“The way you see my brother and I and our families all getting along in this episode is the way we always were. We were always close,” Teresa says. “Everybody goes through disagreements, but we were never in a dark place like the last couple of years… I adore my niece and nephews and love spending time with them. Antonia is so beautiful and those boys just melt my heart!”
Melissa backtracks and now wishes she hadn’t said that she was moving away because of sister-in-law Teresa Giudice. “So as you already know, we moved to Franklin Lakes last September and you will see us in our rental home this season. We bought a property there and are building a house a couple miles away from where we are renting. Watching this episode makes me think about two things that I wish I could go back and erase. The first was making that statement about why we wanted to move and the second was not listening to my gut and going through with the sale of our Montville home to the person who bought it.”
Kai claims that things didn’t go in Melissa and Joe’s favor as several reports claimed after their court hearing last week. He shared the court order and some additional information with us.
Kai says the court hearing wasn’t anything like the news reports claimed. “I got a fair and favorable order by the Judge yesterday. The Judge never said or alleged that Mr. Gorga was getting their property back in 17 days, or the Judge would have ordered an eviction yesterday that would require the removal in 17 days. Nowhere in the order was an eviction granted.”
It’s nice to know that no matter how many seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey we have, some things will remain the same. Teresa Giudice will always be delusional, Melissa Gorga will always be pretending to be someone she’s not (i.e. rich), and the fashions will always be an abomination that is almost unbelievable!
While Teresa is in denial about potentially going to prison – and perhaps if you’re headed to prison the only way to get through is to be in denial – she’s planning for Christmas with her daughters. I will say, and I may regret saying this, Teresa seems much more humbled, sincere, and real this season.
All the Jersians are preparing for Christmas in their own way: Dina Manzo has to put the tree outside because her hairless cat Botox is afraid of it or something. Maybe seeing his reflection in the shiny ornaments was traumatizing. Lexi is waiting for college admissions letters, but has her heart set only on NYU. Dina encourages her to throw a rock over a bridge and let go of preconceived notions of destiny. #ZenByBravo Dina needs to stop getting her life tips from old episodes of Dr. Phil.
After three seasons of family feuding and recycled story lines focused on negativity, have viewers grown tired of RHONJ? Has the magic worn off? Once Bravo’s most popular Housewives franchise the ladies of the garden state have been eclipsed by Georgia peaches as Real Housewives of Atlanta ratings have skyrocketed.
Perhaps viewers don’t believe Bravo that this will finally be a ‘new’ New Jersey. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
The reality TV viewer numbers are in – and Real Housewives of New Jersey failed to draw a big crowd. The season 6 premiere attracted 2.14 million viewers overall. However, in the key demo, it was the lowest rated premiere episode in the history of the show. For comparison’s sake, season 5 premiered to 2.842 million and the season 5 average was 2.29 million.
