As we reported last week, the buzz is that indecisive former Bachelor, Brad Womack, has been chosen once again to be the next Bachelor.
“Ugh!” she told UsWeekly. “Translation: They couldn’t find somebody!” Elisabeth might be onto something as several media outlets have reported that ABC’s first choice, Chris Lambton, turned them down.
Brad, 27, became infamous in 2007 when he left the final two women, DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft, broken hearted by not choosing either of them. At the time, the Bachelor was still somewhat of a classy show, hence Brad’s decision shocking fans of the show.
Elisabeth, 33, feels that Brad doesn’t deserve a second shot at love, at least not on TV. “He didn’t have enough choices before? How many women do you need, Brad?” she asked. “They should really reevaluate that one.”
Kim G. and Jacqueline may find common ground as Kim G. recounts the latest Danielle drama and insists that their friendship is over. Skeptical of her past two-faced behavior, Jacqueline is not quick to trust and even calls Kim G. out on her shady behavior.
Also this week, Dina Manzo makes a guest appearance as she’s named Teresa’s baby’s godmother. Will Dina’s brief return get her caught up in any Housewife drama? And finally, we get the big showdown between Danielle and Kim G. The new episode airs tonight at10/9c on Bravo.
In other Housewives news, Teresa Giudice appeared on The View talk show this morning and her appearance was nothing short of extremely humiliating as she was verbally bitchslapped by the show’s hosts.
Teresa, who seemed very excited to be going on the show according to her twitter, likely did not expect the intense interrogation she received. Right from the start, Teresa seemed tense and nervous, even stammering over her words. She was grilled by the ladies about her financial situation, and at one point during the show, host Joy Behar was just laughing at her, right in front of her.
Teresa’s appearance on the show was first preempted by the foreclosure argument she had with Danielle. The first question came from Elisabeth Hasselbeck who wanted to know how she went broke, since she is always shown spending frivolously on the show. Before Teresa could even finish stammering her words to answer Elisabeth’s question, Joy chimed in, “Is your husband a slumlord?”
And before Teresa could finish answering Joy’s slumlord question, guest host Bryant Gumbel brought up the accusations being made by Joe Giudice’s former business partner, who told PEOPLE magazine a while back that a bad economy only played a small role in the Giudices bankruptcy filing, saying living beyond their means played a big role.
After Teresa tried to put the bankruptcy blame on a bad economy and Joe’s businesses going bad, Bryant brought up a good point when he asked her if people not paying Joe rent could really be to blame for their $11 mil debt. Teresa then claimed their debt was not $11 mil and that those numbers were exaggerated by the media. Bryant asked her how much her debt was, “$10 million?” snarked Bryant to Teresa, who then replied that she did not know the exact amount.
Teresa claimed she was not aware of her huge debt because Joe kept it from her until it was absolutely necessary to tell her. I always live within my means. Always. The money was coming in from the apartment buildings so we were able to live the lifestyle that we did,” insisted Teresa. “How are you living within your means if you’re $11 mil in debt? I don’t get that,” were the next words out of Joy’s mouth.
Teresa was also asked about the foreclosure rumors, to which she said her home is not in foreclosure and has never been in foreclosure. Regarding the upcoming Aug 22 auction, she confirmed her lawyer has filed an objection. She was also asked if the ring she was wearing was real, to which she admitted it was “costume jewelry.”
When asked about the Dancing With The Starsrumors, Teresa said she could not comment on it. “You should go on Dancing With The Stars, and then have a yard sale!” exclaimed other guest host Mario Cantone. And yes folks, it was that kinda day for Teresa. I almost felt bad for her when it was all over. Almost.
Below is what Teresa tweeted after she finished taping The View -
“Whew! It’s over! I knew The View wasn’t going to be a lovefest, but you gotta take the tough questions sometimes…
Thank you all for your encouraging tweets. I’m fine. I’m a tough cookie. It takes more than an old comedian to bring me down. ”
In case you’re wondering, the “old comedian” she’s referring to is Joy Behar. The video of Teresa’s interview has yet to hit the net, but it will be posted here the minute it appears online.

TELL US: WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TERESA’S APPEARANCE ON THE VIEW? ON TONIGHT’S NEW EPISODE?
Also rounding up the bottom two with Erin was Pamela Anderson, who was eliminated from the show last night. “This has been one of the best experiences of my life and that says a lot,” laughed Pamela after hearing the elimination news.
Pam also showed gratitude to her Australian partner Damian Whitewood. “Damian’s amazing. I just want to thank him. I never knew that I could dance or I don’t really know if I can dance yet, but he just helped me so much,” she said. “I just want to thank you very much for doing this and I’m sure he’s going to be around a really long time with you guys.”
Moving on from Pam’s elimination. The big DWTS headline today is the trashy and despicable comments made by Elisabeth Hasselbeckon Tuesday’s episode of The View. Host Elisabeth, 32, criticized Erin Andrews, who has faced two separate stalking incidents in the past year, for dressing too sexy on DWTS.
Now there’s no harm in criticising Erin for the way she dresses on the show, but the harm came when Elisabeth decided to make light of Erin’s stalking incidents, almost putting some blame on her despite the fact that she was a victim. “In light of what happened and as a legal [matter] — and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room,” Elisabeth said. “I mean, in some way if I’m him, I’m like, ‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this — a little bit less — without the prison time!’”
This ofcourse led to outrage from both viewers and the cast of DWTS. The following comments were posted by some of the cast mmbers:
Maksim – “I’m the one designing @ErinAndrewsESPN’s dresses for the show, so I’ll just assume that @ehasselbeck is jealous…and stupid 4 her comments.“
Evan Lysacek - “So disappointed that anyone would attack @ErinAndrewsESPN after all she’s been through.”
Niecy Nash – “Elizabeth Hassleback’s comments about @ErinAndrewsESPN. Insensitive, in poor taste and remedial and foolish.
Must say Niecy Nash’s comment is spot on. To make matters worse, yesterday was Erin’s 32nd birthday. Erin, who says she cried after hearing Elisabeth’s comments had the following to say: “I think people can have opinions about the show, but my biggest complaint is she’s a woman and a mother and it was a mockery of something I’ve lived through this last year. … I felt like it was a slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators.”
Elisabeth appeared on The View Wednesday morning and issued a tearful apology to Erin, saying she had also called her to apologize.
I have so much to say about this but I think Erin and Niecy said it best. It’s one thing for Elisabeth to criticize Erin for her outfits on the show, but to make light of her being stalked and victimized is so cruel, unnecessary and out of line.

Kate Gosselin made some interesting revelations as she appeared on Larry King Live Tuesday night.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 mom made is clear she is not yet ready for romance, despite the fact that husband Jon has been seen canoodling with many women. “I am not yet divorced officially,” she toldLarry King when asked if she feels single.
As for attracting potential suitors, Kate made it clear that she’s “too busy” to date. “I’m lonely, but I’m very busy,” she said stoically.
When asked how her eight children are handling the split, Gosselin said: “They understand the process [of divorce]. They’re working through it the same way that Jon and I are. They’re doing remarkably well.”
Kate however acknowledged that their life isn’t always peaceful. She explained the recent encounter that resulted in cops coming to their PA home. “It was not this huge fight,” she said. “It was just a thing where I wanted to be there with the kids as opposed to a babysitter. And he wasn’t fond of that idea.”
In other news, it was announced today that Kate will be appearing as a guest host on ABC’s The View on Sept. 14 and 15.
She will be filling in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who will still be on maternity leave when The View returns from its summer-rerun schedule on Sept. 8.
First it was Kristin Cavallari all but confirming that MTV’s The Hills is fake. Now it’s Lauren Conrad’s turn. Lauren appeared on the View yesterday, and surprisingly admitted that the infamous apology phone call she received from Spencer Pratt was fake. She said she was not on the other line for that phone call.
Lauren was asked by Elisabeth Hasselbeck, “Did you feel like it was a sincere apology when it came from him?” Lauren smiled, paused and rolled her eyes before answering – “To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other end of that call,” Conrad replied. “That was filmed, and I wasn’t on the other end. So I didn’t even know about it until [it was on TV]. So, no, I didn’t get an apology. He lied.”
So why did she agree to go to their wedding if she never got an apology?
“It’s hard to understand now, but a long time ago — years ago — we moved here together, and we were best friends, and we used to say, ‘Some day at our wedding….,’” Conrad said. “I just felt like it was a few hours of my time, and as much as I didn’t agree with it, I might some day regret not doing it.”
So basically Spencernever apologized for spreading those sex tape rumors. MTV should just go ahead and call this show a soap opera instead of a reality show. Are people still watching this show? I pretty much stopped watching a few seasons back.
