The finale of ABC’s True Beauty aired last night with Taylor Billsbeing declared the winner of the hidden inner beauty contest.
Taylor, a 24-year-old former Arizona League Seattle Mariners professional baseball player from Irvine, CA, beat out other finalists Erika Othen, 25, and Craig Franczyk, 29, to take home a cash prize of $100,000 and a spot in People Magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful People issue.
Craig came in third and Erika came in second. And while it seemed Erika had the competition in the bag, Taylor was able to come out victorious.
“I’ve always had these golden dreams to make it to the top and I won. I’m on top right now and it feels awesome. As long as you can learn from your mistakes and work on constantly improving yourself, that’s the take home message,” Taylor said.
The all new second season of ABC’s True Beauty is set to premiere tonight at 10 pm ET, right after the Bachelorette.
Similar to the first season, the 10 gorgeous models are made to think they’re competing to become the “Face of Vegas” while secretly being judged on their inner beauty.
One person will be eliminated each week based on their behavior and where they ranked in each challenge. At the end of eight episodes, one winner will be declared after successfully demonstrating that their inner beauty matches their outer beauty. The winner will receive a $100,000 cash prize and a feature article in People magazine.
Vanessa Minnillo returns as the show’s host, and will co-judge alongside Carson Kressley and Beth Ostrosky Stern.
