Last night’s episode of The Rachel Zoe Project featured totally improvised, unscripted drama that left us all on the edges of our seats! Rachel and Rodger fought about nothing until he conceded, Joey started acting like Brad to get more camera time, and Rachel is just so over this whole giving birth thing even though she’s like 8 months pregnant. Oh, and Jerewhinah whined.
Rachel is hanging out with Joey, who has ditched his life and moved to LA to be her bitch for hire. They have a totally spontaneous conversation about her boobs. Joey can’t believe she has them and wants to touch them; suddenly, because she is about to be a mother she is protective of them and it’s hands off. Joey muses that Rachel feels like a sexy woman for the first time in her life.
Rodger assigns Jeremiah the task of decorating their brand new 7,000 square-foot home, since he has a background in design but doesn’t know jack about clothes and they might as well pay him to do something! The catch is he has 10 days to do it! Jeremiah is worried that if he messes this up he’ll lose his job, because succeeding with the decorating is the only way to prove his worth to Rachel.

Well, it’s another episode of the All about Rachel Hour and on last night’s episode of The Rachel Zoe Project, Rachel showed her collection in NYC, stressed out about how her collection would be perceived, and realized she will be birthing a baby sometime soon and has no idea how that “process” works. Also, hairdresser and biffl Joey decides to move to LA and support the Zoe-Bermans full-time – for a hefty fee, of course!
The team is preparing to embark upon NYC to present Rachel’s collection. Basically the entire fashion industry will be there. The trip will be a three-day affair, of an interview and debut with Women’s Wear Daily, then a fashion show, then a buying day when editors and department stores can view the collection and order pieces to sell or photograph. Rodger is meeting with the team to break it all down and puts lots of pressure on how this collection could ruin Rachel’s career if no one bites. This collection is like THE MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER. Like Ever. How weird was it seeing Rodger acting so professional, together, and not whining?

Last night was the season premier of The Rachel Zoe Project and things are as hectic and glittery as ever – except this time they include a very pregnant Rachel still hobbling around in heels (and I noticed not consuming much food??) wearing pretty much the same wardrobe as before!
Rachel is six months pregnant with a little boy and she cried for weeks upon realizing she may not have an heir for her enormous couture collection, but she was finally consoled when she found baby leather jackets she could stuff him in. Rodger reminds her that their child is not a doll – a concept Rachel simply cannot accept. Rodger and Rachel seem much happier and more in sync, which is a nice change after last season when I was convinced they were headed to d-i-v-o-r-c-e! Pregnancy hasn’t slowed Rachel down at all with her career being busier than ever! La Zoe appears to have given up coffee and Rachel without coffee is like the sky without clouds.

The fourth season of the Rachel Zoe Project is set to debut tonight on Bravo, and if there’s one thing certain, it is that we will finally discover what really went down between Rachel Zoe and her former assistant Brad Goreski.
When Brad abruptly quit working for Rachel last year, the two publicly stated the split was amicable. However months later, a report came out stating Rachel was “furious” with Brad for stealing one of her top clients aka Demi Moore. Rachel kept mum back then but in one of the new preview clips for the new season of her show, she is finally revealing her true feelings.
In the clip, Rachel states when Brad quit, he had told her and her husband Rodger Berman that he wanted to spend more time at home with his dog and boyfriend away from the limelight. However Rachel reveals that within a week after quitting, Brad, who also has his own show coming soon to Bravo, “started to pursue our clients, started going to all these events, and doing all the things he said he had no interest in.”
Rachel goes on to add, “It’s not the first time I’ve been used. I would say it’s going to be the last time, though.”
Unfortunately for Rachel, Brad is not her only problem this season, as she will also have to juggle her busy career of styling the A-listers while getting ready for the birth of her first child. A preview clip is below -

The network made the announcement this week as well as the unveiling of two new fashion series. So what can we expect on the upcoming new season? Well we can expect more fashion talk as style guru Rachel Zoetakes her celebrity styling to a whole new level.
This season captures the incredible star power behind Rachel’s business, which is expanding to include her own exclusive clothing line. As her business continues to grow, so does Rachel’s family as she prepares for the birth of her first child with husband Rodger Berman. Rachel also goes bananas when she tries to juggle and manage her new team, clothing line and celeb clients all while preparing for motherhood.
Missing in action this season will be Rachel’s long term assistant Brad Goreski who quit working for her last September to branch off on his own. Back then the two stated they ended their work relationship amicably, however a report came out in February stating Rachel was furious and feuding with Brad for stealing styling her a-list client Demi Moore.
The new season premieres Aug 2 at 10/9c. And right after the Rachel Zoe Project every Tuesday night will be the airing of two new series Fashion Hunters at 10pm and Mad Fashion at 10:30pm.
“Fashion Hunters” follows the fashionistas at Second Time Around as they go out searching the attics, closets and garages of New York’s elite. Far from the land of thrift, this hip shop makes dreams come true for shoppers looking for designer fashions on a budget. The team has to deal with demanding customers from savvy socialites to downtown hipsters looking to sell back or buy their next great “get.”
“Mad Fashion” follows former Project Runway alum Chris March. From start to finish, viewers will see Chris and his eccentric crew as they create one-of-a-kind designs for his high-profile clientele. No creation or idea is too crazy for this team as they design Jennifer Coolidge’s Mardi-Gras float ensemble and model Chrissy Teigen’s gown for the MET Costume Gala. Tensions will rise as Chris pushes the boundaries of fashion and challenges his clients’ comfort zones. A sneek peak of Mad Fashion is below –
TELL US – ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THE UPCOMING SEASON OF THE RACHEL ZOE PROJECT? THOUGHTS ON THE TWO NEW FASHION SHOWS?
Power stylist and Bravo reality starRachel Zoe, who is 9 months pregnant and due this month, opens up about a number of things in her latest interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
Rachel, 39, star ofThe Rachel Zoe Project, who has dressed everyone from Anne Hathaway to Cameron Diaz, discusses her extraordinary rise from stylist to the stars to becoming a brand name. “I’m not sure that most people can name another stylist,” says Rodger Berman, her husband of 13 years and the president of Rachel Zoe Inc. since July.
Rachel’s Budding Empire – The Rachel Zoe Inc company employs 14 full-time staffers who manage The Zoe Report, her daily digital newsletter with a readership of 250,000; the Rachel Zoe Collection, a contemporary line launching in the fall with licensing partner Li & Fung at such stores as Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman (prices range from $250-$700); and The Rachel Zoe Project, her Bravo reality show that drew 1.1 million viewers to its Season 3 finale (up 31 percent from the previous year; the show is due to return in the fall).
Humble Beginnings – Rachel has come a long way since her first job as a fashion assistant in New York at the now-defunct YM magazine (her salary: $18,000). She went freelance at 25 and began styling for the likes of Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys from a one-bedroom West Village apartment. “I worked 20-something hours a day, seven days a week,” says Rachel. “I was completely obsessed with fashion and spent all my money flying to Paris to go to couture because that was the dream. I crashed shows, stood in line for Marc Jacobs. Designers were my heroes and my celebrities. It hasn’t really worn off.”
Rachel’s Growing Fortune – Today, she now earns up to $10,000 per styling job, along with an estimated $50,000 an episode for her Bravo reality show. Revenue from her product lines and add her styling earnings, and Zoe is easily clearing seven figures, but Rodger says he’s only recently felt like he can breathe a little easier. “Last year was the first time when I felt like, ‘OK, we’re not gonna go bankrupt.’ But, ‘Mo’ money, mo’ problems.’ To my wife, it just means she can spend more.”
Rachel On Fame – “I never wanted to be famous,” says Rachel, who grew up in Short Hills, N.J. “A stylist is a behind-the-scenes job,” she says. “I’m never a star when I’m with a star — ever. Back then, I was very insecure about that. Even now, if you watch me on a red carpet, I’m physically uncomfortable. I can’t strike a good pose to save my life. Fortunately and unfortunately, it’s a part of brand-building. It’s just part of my job.” “Rachel is an expert in her field, at the top of her game, and she’s addictive to watch,” Andy Cohen says. “The other star of The Rachel Zoe Project is the fashion,” he adds. “But as you go deeper into any reality show, more colors of the rainbow start to come out.” Like her slang, which includes the stupefied “I die” and the exultant “Ah-mazing.” Says Cohen, “The Zoe-isms are bananas.”
