Bachelor Jake Pavelka Lands Acting Gig, Plus Bachelorette & True Beauty Recap

Just weeks after his run on Dancing With The Stars, former Bachelor star Jake Pavelka has landed yet another new gig!

UsWeekly reports that Jake, 32, will play a single guy on Drop Dead Diva, a Lifetime series.  Jake will reportedly guest star as Toby Davlin, a suitor on a dating show-within-a-show called Finding the One. He will begin taping his scenes on June 18. His episode is titled “Good Grief,” and is set to air Aug. 22.

Jake and his fiance Vienna Girardi (pictured above on June 10) also continue to defy all odds. The couple is still together and happily engaged.

Bachelorette –  The fourth episode of this season’s Bachelorette aired last night with Ali Fedotowsky getting down to her final 8.  Unfortunately,  likable weatherman Jonathan Novack didn’t make the cut. “I feel like you didn’t get a chance to know me,” whispered Jonathan to Ali just before leaving.  Jonathan’s elimination wasn’t a big shocker as he just didn’t seem to have a romantic connection with Ali. Also eliminated last night was Jesse Beck. Ali continues her search for love next Monday as she and the final 8 will travel to Iceland.

In a first ever on ABC’s True Beauty, a contestant was eliminated for violating the show’s rules.  That unlucky contestant was Regina Villano of Tabernacle, New Jersey.  The 22-year-old, who wasn’t in the bottom two, ended up getting the boot for using a cell phone on the show, which is against the show’s rules.

Regina likely saved the show’s villain Liz Parada, 32, from going home.  Liz’s behavior, which includes being a sloppy aggressive drunk, continues to turn her fellow housemates against her.  There are now seven remaining contestants and the group will have to pose nude on next week’s episode.
