Teen Mom’s Maci Bookout: ‘I Don’t Want To Steal Bentley’s Childhood’ Plus Catelynn Lowell’s Eviction Drama!

Teen Mom star Maci Bookout is starting to have second thoughts about doing the popular MTV show according to a new interview with Life & Style magazine.

The reason? Maci, 19, worries about how the show is affecting her 2-year-old son Bentley Edwards. “I don’t want to steal his childhood,” says Maci who is worried about Bentley growing up under a harsh media microscope. “I don’t know if being on TV in elementary school would be difficult for him. I want him to have a normal life.”

Maci, who reportedly earns $60,000 per season, however adds that choosing to walk away from the fame show would be a very difficult decision because it has allowed her to provide for her son. “Without the show, I would have had to have a full-time job and be in school full-time, and I’d rarely get to spend time with Bentley,” Maci says. “It’s been difficult, but it’s also been a big blessing.”

As for the moment, Maci assures us Bentley’s not being affected by the show in any negative way. “He actually enjoys it,” she confesses. “Bentley thinks it’s cool to watch himself on TV and to have cameras around.”

In other Teen Mom news, Catelynn Lowell, you know, the one that sort of has it together and therefore no one really talks about her, is making recent headlines. The reason? It all has to do with an eviction.

According to TMZ Catelynn and her boyfriend Tyler Baltierra, who were shown moving into their 1st apartment together on the MTV show, were evicted from the same apartment for failing to pay rent! The 19-year-olds signed a lease on the apartment in Marine City, Michigan, in August, 2010 with court documents showing they stopped paying rent in December, 2010.

This caused their landlord to give them an eviction notice while also taking them to court. The landlord ending up winning big as the two had to give up their $450.00 security deposit, in addition to paying an additional $450 in back rent and moving out of the building.

The two of course did what any other 19-year-olds would do by taking to their twitter pages to give their side. “The landlord was an idiot and didn’t fix anything I payed [sic] every month that I lived there,” Catelynn tweeted. Tyler added, “Ok everyone I did not get evicted, I left bcuz the landlord was a lazy unprofessional man of business, and I refuse to put with it FYI.” Guess we’ll have to wait and see if the eviction drama makes the show.

A new episode of Teen Mom airs tonight on MTV at 10/9c.
