After pleading for television gigs and insisting that she will never be able to provide for her brood turned up nothing, it seems mom of many, Kate Gosselin is taking her ex-husband’s advice and returning to nursing.
Kate, 36, tried and tried some more to become a TV star in her own right, even pitching television show ideas, but no job offers apparently came in, so with no where else to turn she is eating humble pie and pulling on some scrubs!
I know! Poor patients! If you recall, free bitch Jon Gosselin publicly chastised Kate’s refusal to let go of a life as a C-List celebrity; reminding her “reality TV is not a career.” Encouraging the woman who was his former partner in fame grubbing to “Get back to normal life, simple life, provide for your family, and go from there.”
After months and months of hanging onto the delusion that people want to see her mug on their TV screens screaming at her kids and throwing tantrums giving parenting advice or hosting talk shows, Kate has accepted it’s not going to happen. According to Life & Style the former terror of Kate Plus 8 has completed courses to renew her nursing Incense as a labor-and-delivery nurse. Pregnant women of Pennsylvania, you have been warned!
“She just completed more courses to renew her license,” a ‘friend’ reveals to Life & Style.”She has no clue how she’ll continue to pay for the kids’ private school and living expenses,” adds the pal of Kate’s decision to reconsider nursing ( though she has yet to find a job in that field either!).
Kate has laughed off claims that the family is rolling in the dough and became filthy rich through the series. “I read what we apparently make and it’s hysterical,” she told The Huffington Post. “[I’ve saved] for a little while. People think we made gazillions of dollars, and we didn’t.”
However previously released accounts of Kate’s monthly expenses don’t paint the portrait of a woman living on modest means! It’s been reported she spends as much as $500,000 per year on staff alone! She needs to employ that full-time bodyguard! For her safety…
“The bottom line is I have eight kids to provide for,” Kate recently admitted and I guess that is the bottom line. Although I find it very hard to believe Jon and Kate saved no money after several seasons on a very successful (at one point) reality show and several other accompanying endorsements, books, and media deals. I guess Kate’s GTH (Gym, Tan, Hair) regiment really costs a lot!

UPDATE – So much for Kate Gosselin getting back to nursing and more importantly, getting off our TVs! Kate actually took to her twitter page to deny she is returning to nursing. “No truth,” tweeted Kate. “Renewed license when up for renewal. And that got it all going!”
