Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans and 2-year-old son Jace are recovering today after a car crash yesterday.
TMZ reports Jenelle, 20, alongside Jace and another female passenger were rushed to the hospital on Thursday after she crashed her SUV into a light pole.
The Wilmington, NC Police department told TMZ all three passengers were transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. Jenelle was driving the car while son Jace was in his car seat in the back.
The good news is all parties are doing well today, as evident by Jenelle’s tweets below, and cops tell TMZ there was no indication that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The police are however still investigating.
Jenelle also took to her twitter, of course, to tell her side of the crash. Jenelle, who has had issues with drugs in the past, wanted to make it clear neither alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. “LOOK TMZ.. Crashed into a pole in a parking lot going 10mph no drugs involved I’m clean. Jace is fine I’m injured in the hospital alone,” tweeted Jenelle.
She later added: “My mom took jace home and wouldn’t wait for me.” Jenelle’s mom Barbara Evans currently has custody of Jace, and just last month, the two got into an altercation during which cops were called.
