While we’re still two months away from the Basketball Wives season 4 premiere, Tami Roman is already dishing on what we can expect on the upcoming season!
In a new interview with Egyptsaidso.com, Tami reveals: “This season is filled with a lot of twists and turns. Alliances that were there or that people have followed through the Basketball Wives journey that they thought were solid, some of those fall by the wayside, some of those alliances are re-established.”
Yes, one of those crumbling alliances Tami is referring to is that of former BFFs Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams. That friendship is now no more as the ladies have not only been taking subliminal shots at each other on Twitter, but also got into a physical altercation during Shaunie O’Neal’s recent birthday party!

Tami goes on to reveal who she continues to be friends with on the show. “I’ve always been cool with Royce and Shaunie and like I said, Evelyn and I are building a stronger relationship, friendship, if you will,” says Tami. “I’ve always been cool with Royce and I think that will continue. Royce and I know how to curse each other out and then just keep it movin’ and laugh about it later. Everybody else is not there with it.” Uh oh, does this mean good ol’ Jen has — gasps — been officially kicked out of the “circle”?
Tami also opens up about her beau, Nora’s Hair Salon director Jerry Lamothe, who has chosen not to appear on the VH1 hit show. Smart guy!
“We decided that we want to be in a committed relationship with each other and because we love each other,” says Tami of her boyfriend. “We’re raising three daughters between the two of us and that’s important for us to present a strong foundation and a strong family unit for them … that’s what it’s been and going strong for about four years now.” A picture of Tami and her beau is below!
The new season of Basketball Wives returns to VH1 in February, 2012. Must say I can’t wait to see the drama between Evelyn and Jen play out! And from what I’ve heard, these two have A LOT of dirt on each other! Here’s to hoping they will be spilling on the show.
