Shahs Of Sunset: Where Do Things Stand Between Reza Farahan And Mercedes “MJ” Javid?

The second season of Shahs of Sunset was not good for Reza Farahan and Mercedes "MJ" Javid's long-established friendship. The addition of Reza's shiny new toy, Lilly Ghalichi, MJ's partying, Asa Soltan Rahmati and Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi's season-long feud, and Reza's ego explosion were just a few of the events that caused a rift between the friends.

According to Reza's blog, he went to the season two reunion with the sole purpose of revealing "truths" and confronting MJ about her issues with alcohol and pills.

"Denial is truly a destructive emotion and regardless of where MJ is at, we all know and have witnessed her excessive use of drugs and alcohol," Reza blogged. "I'm at the end of my rope and don't want to see MJ overdose or even die, that would be unbearable. If I have to be the bad guy or the mean one, I'm happy with those titles as long as my friend is alive and well. That's all I want. I can't sit by and watch MJ self-destruct."

During the reunion, Mike Shouhed said that he hasn't ever seen MJ abuse pills, and Reza straight up called him a liar.

"Mike's support of MJ just perpetuates the cycle and she'll continue to be enabled. I was disappointed that he wasn't honest," Reza wrote. "Like Asa said, it's really scary when a 40 year old woman is asleep in the hallway of a hotel. That's not just unacceptable behavior, it's dangerous."

On the other hand, Reza sang Lilly's praises, "Lilly has been a breath of fresh air. Having her in the group helped to lighten my mood and distract me from MJ's hardcore partying."

All that said, Reza seamlessly went from "concerned friend" to "self-involved jackass." Apparently, MJ has been actively trying to damage Reza's reputation between pill pops, and he's not happy about it.

"She has been on a smear campaign trying to convince others that my use of the words "bitch" and "ho" is inexcusable," Reza wrote. "She even brought up the fact that I had referred to my mother as such. In my heart I know that I love and adore my mother. I fancy myself a comedian and have always used those words to be funny in interviews."

Reza added, "I won't lie. I do crack myself up." At least someone finds him funny.

Reza went on to say that he knew what MJ was "trying to do" and reacted accordingly. "I replied that I might refer to my mother as such, but that her mother was a bitch and a ho. It wasn't my finest hour, but I couldn't take another moment of MJ's "smoke and mirror" tactics. Plus, you guys have seen her mother, enough said."

Lately, everything about Reza makes my skin crawl.

In her own blog, MJ dissed Reza's manipulative power plays, adding, "I never in a million years thought that Reza would have a reason to turn into such a malicious human being."

"Reza and Lilly are both pathetic, lying, scum-sucking, contradictive, underhanded cowards. Part of me is fuming when I sit down to write because I re-visit the morally reprehensible, false, and repeated character assassinations of my friends and acquaintances," MJ wrote. "At least, I appreciate and find some vindication that a vast majority of you are seeing right through the scheming, lying, back stabbing that I've been feeling all last year."

MJ added, "To hell with every coward who stabbed me in the back."

Despite the pain she has endured, MJ said she is grateful for the learning experience. "Looking back on this "season," AKA the last six months of my life, I've learned a lot," MJ shared. "I'm grateful for every bit of it and look forward to more that I have to learn."

TELL US – IS MJ ABUSING PILLS? WILL MJ AND REZA EVER BE FRIENDS AGAIN? SHOULD THERE BE A THIRD SEASON OF SHAHS OF SUNSET?
