So, while I love reality television, I am so far behind on actual "respected" entertainment. Case in point? I am still trying to catch up on the movies that were up for Oscars in February. I highly recommend Lincoln and Silver Linings Playbook. I know, I know, you've probably already seen them!
That said, last night, I finally watched D'Jango Unchained. Amazing, but I can't stomach Tarantino's caricatures of violence. I also can't handle Jamie Foxx. He's brilliant. He's talented. He made me sob in the theater when I saw Ray. He is Juilliard trained. And then he became a rapper. In my head, he went backwards.
His spiral continues, apparently. Now, Jamie is allegedly dating Cristy Rice from season one of Real Housewives of Miami. The man won an Oscar for gosh's sake. He needs to call up Charlize Theron or Halle Berry (except they're taken…no biggie). Whatever. Nothing shocks me anymore. Maybe Cristy is nicer than she appeared on RHOM. Maybe?

Jamie was recently the subject of an Instagram pictorial courtesy of Cristy while the pair was partying at the Delano in New York City. The photo above was captioned, “It’s not everyday you get kisses from the President. #mrfoxx#laughteristhebestmedicine #talent#pretty” You may recall that Jamie plays the president in White House Down, which is a movie I will totally own on DVD. I love an action flick.
Cristy's next set of hashtags imply a "friendship" but also a kindred connection. Bwahahaha! She wrote, “Dinner & Chillin’ w/my boy Foxx!!!!!#friends #timeflies #supertalent#fullcircle #sagittarius/gemini #destiny.”

While the former RHOM star is living it up with Jamie, Marysol Patton is coming to grips with the fact that she's been downgraded to a friend of the housewives.
She tells The Hollywood Gossip, “I’m not in the main title shot with the photos with the girls, but I film just as much as I did when I was a regular housewife,” adding, “So, I guess it will come down to the editing.”
Editing. Bless her heart. She should know that editing never works in anyone's favor no matter how much you film!
Marysol believes that Bravo thought viewers only wanted a handful of housewives to follow. Shhhh…no one tell her that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expanding its main cast members!
Marysol thinks that the network is whittling her role "so that there was more quality and the audience could get more involved with the ladies and their stories. It was too hard to do that when there was seven or eight of us."
Of course, the always upbeat Marysol is just that, telling the site, “I enjoy myself and I enjoy the friendships that were made and the ladies that I’ve met. Today and where I am today, I could say maybe a few more years.”
