One of the worst things about Lilly Ghalichi not returning to Shahs of Sunset is that we won’t get to see her plan her wedding to Dhar Mann. And worse yet, we won’t be invited (via cameras of course) to the wedding!
Lilly and Dhar got engaged on April Fool’s Day. On April 16, Lilly said she and her new fiance jumped right into planning not one, but two, huge weddings. Fast forward five months, it sounds like once that initial “OMG, we’re engaged! Must plan everything! Right now!” madness wore off, wedding planning got pushed to the back burner.
Oh well. I mean, if we don’t get to see Lilly plan the wedding and drive her glam squad crazy in the process, Coconut spin in circles down the aisle, or Lilly and Dhar say “I Do” to each other, does it matter? #kidding

“We haven’t started the wedding planning, but that’s just because we’re both so busy,” Lilly admitted to Wetpaint this week. “I have [a lot] going on and [Dhar]’s working really hard on a new business and application he’s launching. We did promise ourselves that by Christmastime we will sit down and start to plan it. Hopefully it will go down in 2015!”
One detail Lilly has thought of… the dress! And a wedding dress designer has reached out to Lilly, offering to design a custom dress for her, thanks to the magical powers of Pinterest. If you’re familiar with Pinterest, you know the power it holds. If you’re not familiar, run the other way! Save yourself!
“There is a wedding designer called Pnina Tornai and she’s reached out to me,” shared Lilly. “I randomly looked at dresses on Pinterest and Instagram and I posted a dress that I love. I had no idea who the designer was and it happened to be her! She and her team reached out to me and said they would love to design my dress for me and make something really custom. When I do have the time, I will be going to New York to meet with her.”
Lilly added, “She’s 100 percent one of the designers I’m considering — but I might consider other designers, as well. I want something really beautiful. I only plan on getting married once in my life, so I want to make sure it’s really special and I take my time.”
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes… baby? Yes, Lilly admitted that she’s anxious to start a family with Dhar, as soon as they’re settled.
“What I’m looking forward to the most is starting a family. We don’t live together right now, so once we get married we’d move in together and start talking about having kids,” said Lilly. “I just think that whole aspect of being a parent and being a wife is so beautiful — that’s the real treasure in life. I’m so excited to finally experience that.”
Wait, so we get to see Asa Soltan Rahmati play the role of a modern Persian gypsy bohemian priestess inventor of water, but we don’t get to see Lilly live in reality? And with a booming business and a mature relationship to boot? Please excuse me while I go drown my sorrows in a bucket of chocolate ice cream while searching “fitness inspiration” on Pinterest.
