In January of this year, former Shahs of Sunset star Lilly Ghalichi revealed that she was pregnant with her second child. She announced it in a sweet Instagram post with husband Dara Mir and her three year old daughter. Lilly excitedly captioned the pic,“Surprise!!! Sorry I’ve been so MIA. It’s been a hard few months this pregnancy. Thrilled to be expecting our next baby and finally feeling better.”
As reported by Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Lilly revealed the sex of her baby at her lavish baby shower, surrounded by friends and family. She posted to her Instagram, “It’s official, I’m going to be a BOY MOM!! Make some noise if you’re ready to go INSIDE my shower!!!” Lilly then added 5 photos of her fabulous event. Her feature photo showed her looking gorgeous in an amazing sheer and crystal dress and her husband looking dapper in a tuxedo. They posed in front of a ton of blue and white balloons. Lilly also shared bunch of slides from friend and former Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi to her Instagram stories. Gretchen attended the event with husband Slade Smiley.
Gretchen wrote in her stories, “So happy for you guys.” She included pics of elaborate table settings, a group shot with Lilly and pics of Lilly and her husband on the dance floor. Gretchen also commented on Lilly’s post. She wrote, “Yeah!!! So happy for you guys! This was such an epic celebration [and] we had the best time! Every detail was perfection! We love you guys.”
But Gretchen and Slade weren’t the only Bravolebrities in attendance. Former Shahs costars Reza Farahan and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi were there to celebrate and enjoy dancing to a live band. GG posted to her Instagram, “Such an amazing night with my boys [Adam Neely] [and] [Reza] celebrating our girl [Lilly]’s Baby Mir baby shower!” Her post featured a picture of her posing with Reza and Adam at the shower’s interactive photo booth. Adam added in her comments, “I had the two best dates there!” Reza also shared a photo with GG and wrote on his post, “Blessings on blessings to Baby Mir. Congratulations [Lilly] and Dara.” Lilly responded,Love you so much!! Thank you guys for coming.”
Lilly previously admitted that she wanted to have more kids, even during a brief separation from her husband. She said at the time, “I’m having more kids 1,000 percent. Becoming a mother has been the most life-changing experience in my life for the better! I’ve never experienced anything harder or more difficult, but at the same time, never something as rewarding as seeing your baby, your flesh and blood.” Congrats to Lilly and her family!
