Unless you have been under a rock all day.. you know that Zendaya Coleman took offense to a comment Giuliana Rancic made on Fashion Police about her dreadlocks. Giuliana said the hairstyle makes Zendaya look like she reeks of patchouli oil and marijuana. Holy stereotype, right?!?
As a follow up to the non-apology apology she tweeted earlier today, Giuliana addressed the issue tonight on E! News. “I do want to address something that is weighing very heavy on my heart. I want to apologize for a comment on last night’s Fashion Police about Zendaya‘s hair,” she said.

“As you know, Fashion Police is a show that pokes fun at celebrities in good spirit, but do understand that something I said last night did cross the line. I just want everyone to now that I did not intend to hurt anybody, but I have learned it is not my intent that matters, it is the result. And the result is that people are offended, including Zendaya, and that is not OK.”
“I want to say to Zendaya and anyone else out there that I have hurt that I am so sincerely sorry. This really has been a learning experience for me. I have learned a lot today. This incident has taught me to be a lot more aware of clichés and stereotypes and how much damage they can do and that I am responsible – as we all are – to not perpetuate them further.”
In related Fashion Police news, Kelly Osbourne threatened to quit over the incident. “I WILL NOT BE DRAGED INTO THIS!” she tweeted. “The situation is being rectified like ADULTS by both parties. I hope you can leave it to them & do the same!”
Pointing out that Zendaya is her friend, Kelly continued, “I’m giving everyone involved 24 hours to make it right or the world will hear how I really feel. Contactually I’m not allowed to speak! I DID NOT MAKE THE WEED COMENT. I DO NOT CONDONE RACISM SO AS A RSULT OF THIS I AM SEREIOULSY QUESTIONONIG STAYING ON THE SHOW!”
Well, if Kelly quits, I hope she takes some classes. Starting with Spelling 101.
