Sheree, who was married to Will Smith and is now divorcing Terrell Flecther, shared that VH1 didn’t give the cast much notice or reasoning behind the decision.
Sheree tells HipHopHollywood, “They don’t have to give you a reason. They just say, ‘You ain’t coming back’ and that’s it. It’s a wrap. We were shocked because our ratings were good and people loved the show, so you know, go figure.”
We didn’t track the show’s third season, but season 2’s average was 820,000 viewers. Not the greatest, but not the worst, either.
No news yet on the renewal or cancellation of its counterpart, Atlanta Exes. The ATL version bounced around between 1.5 and 2 million viewers, so it might be safe at this point.
