Terra Jole is taking her pregnancy, and her drama, to a new series that will revolve exclusively around…who else? HER! Little Women: Terra’s Little Family, which premieres April 8 on Lifetime, will document Terra Jole’s high risk pregnancy in near real-time footage (aka: Tori & Dean style) leading up to the baby’s delivery. The show will also look back on the ups and downs of Terra’s pregnancy, as documented largely on Little Women LA.
On this season’s LWLA – finale coming this Wednesday! – Terra and Joe Gnoffo have had cameras following them into doctor’s appointments and social situations that have tested their relationship and exposed the health risks of Little Person pregnancy. Facing serious concerns like the high risk of having a double-dominant child (a condition in which double-dominant dwarfism genes prove fatal for a newborn), Terra and Joe will take us through the last months of her pregnancy via 10 episodes.

Lifetime reports that “After receiving an overwhelming outpouring of support, they [Terra & Joe] have made the courageous decision to document the impending birth of their baby in an all new unscripted program.”
The series will kick off with a premiere special April 8 that will take a look back at Terra and Joe’s pregnancy journey so far on LWLA. Going forward, we can only hope that some of the craziness of LWLA rubs off on the new spinoff, and with our girl Terra as an executive producer (again) the drama is likely going to be amped up at all times.
Lifetime cites the success of LWLA as motivation for the new series spinoff, reporting that LWLA is “cable’s number one original series in its Wednesday 9-10pm time period among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54; its season two premiere in January reached series highs across all key demographics.” The success of LWLA has also led to the upcoming sister spinoff, Little Women New York.
Meanwhile, Terra’s tweeting up a storm in anticipation of her new starring role, but says she’ll reveal the gender of her baby will on this Wednesday’s finale of LWLA.
