Tamar Braxton and Vince Hebert have been dealing with a massive tax debt for a while. Vince reportedly failed to properly pay taxes for years and they are totally broke!
Despite the fact that the Tamar & Vince stars have a hit reality show, Tamar’s singing career (she was once nominated for a Grammy), and Tamar’s gig hosting The Real, they are in real danger of losing everything. That includes their Calabasas mansion because they can’t pay their $1.6 million-dollar tax debt and the IRS has placed liens on their earnings and possessions. Oops. In fact, Vince at one point owed over $3 million in back taxes to the IRS!

SandraRose reports that everything the couple has is leased – including their lavish home – plus Tamar and Vince owe everyone money! In fact, their gorgeous mansion is completely empty of furnishings reportedly because they can’t afford to fill it – and have sold off what was once there. “She will be out of her house in Calabasas by the end of the year,” the insider predicts.
In addition the high-rolling couple is in danger having their cars, also leased, re-posessed and it’s happened before! As for why Tamar hasn’t released any albums lately? She owes several LA studios and producers money and has “worn out her welcome” borrowing, borrowing, borrowing! “Producers won’t work with her until she pays them up front,” insists the insider. Rumor has it Tamar’s hairstylist Terrell quit because she was late paying him one too many times as well.
Sadly, Tamar and Vince are so worried about their shaky financial status coming to light Vince has allegedly “threatened” employees and former employees that talking will result in bodily harm inflicted by hired “goons.” Is the goon Vince?
Reports also say WE TV is desperate to preserve the aspirational status of their stars and have issued cease & desist letters to people Tamar believed was leaking “confidential behind-the-scenes” info. IN fact Tamar tweeted two-days ago that she believed her phone had been “compromised.” Why hasn’t WE bailed them out on their financial mess then?
In fact, RumorFix shares that the stress of dealing with her seemingly insurmountable financial situation, while playing keeping up with the Joneses is causing Tamar severe anxiety. She was rushed to the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank yesterday complaining of “anxiety and shortness of breath.”
Sources say the talk show host allegedly left the Warner lot, where The Real films, in an ambulance while hyperventilating. Or maybe it was a hangover? Tamar celebrated her 38th birthday on St. Patrick’s Day and spent the night partying with friends, like Porsha Williams. Photos below!
And proving that her denial might be as real as her rumored financial mess, Vince threw Tamar a lavish party.

UPDATE: Tamar Tweeted out this morning: “So.. YALL blogs and validated radio stations etc getting your news from a BATHROOM blogger @SandraRose ?? If my husband owed 1.6, hell 4.6 million dollars I could pay that! Be very careful because you ARE sending me to the hospital with anxiety issues!! Maybe I Should talk to my Lawyer about the rumors you are spreading and how sick it’s making me… You did say that’s why I went correct.”
