The secret is out! Little Women LA’s Elena Gant and her husband Preston are expecting not one, but TWO babies this June! News of Elena’s pregnancy has been swirling around online for weeks now, but US Weekly confirmed this morning that what we suspected is indeed true. Woo hoo! Elena wins the baby race! Because, let’s keep it real: LWLA is ALL about the baby race, no matter what season they’re in.
Elena admitted to US that she was a bit shocked to learn she was expecting twins. After the first ultrasound, where she and Preston found out they had conceived fraternal twins, Elena says they were initially taken aback. She explains, “It’s like a double blessing. But at first it was a big surprise, and I didn’t even know if I should be happy or I should be concerned or what.”

Elena became understandably concerned about the safety of carrying multiples as a little person, and began searching for information everywhere. But ultimately she reveals, “I believe in nature, and I think that it will all work out.”
Castmate and new mommy Terra Jole has been a big support to Elena along the way. Since Terra’a already explored the ins and outs of what baby gear works for little people, Elena has been hitting her up for the inside scoop! “I keep asking her about the strollers and the different things that she knows better because she has the same height issue as I have, and how to lift all this and fold this, and put it in the trunk,” Elena tells US.
So far, Elena reveals she’s gained a lot of weight (as expected), which makes her less mobile. But her sweet husband who needs a statue erected in his honor is making life much easier for the mom to be!
Elena reveals Preston “just pretty much [does] everything I ask him to — he helps me with groceries; he cooks for me, like breakfast; he lets me sleep longer. Basically, I stay in bed, and he brings breakfast to bed. It’s a very romantic time for us.”
Now the only question remaining is: Who will be the MOST jealous cast member on LWLA? Jasmine Sorge, Briana Renee, and Christy McGinity Gibel are all on manic baby quests this season. And perhaps Elena will ultimately not be the only cast member with child when the cameras stop rolling…?
The only one who might be chill about Elena’s news is, ironically, Tonya Banks. She’s got no horse in this race, after all!
Until then, we’ll have to see how this all unfolds on camera. Elena’s “big reveal” is bound to happen soon, after all. Will you be watching?
