I feel like Jill Zarin is the only Real Housewives of New York alum who hasn’t come back at all. And other than the very recently departed cast members that is very true. Jill went from being everyone’s favorite mom from Long Island to a pretty hated cast member. Her cast mates all beefed with her, the viewers were tired of seeing it, and she even offended Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live– more than once.
This has me wondering if time can really heal all wounds. Will Jill ever return to the show? Her former cast mate Luann de Lesseps addressed this in a recent interview. Plus she revealed some pretty other interesting info.

If you’ve been watching this season, you know that pretty much everyone is hating on Luann and calling her out for shit that may or may not be true. So I’m not at all shocked that she would want to bring in some reinforcements to be on Team Luann.
In an interview with 9News, Luann said, “You know, I always miss the girls who aren’t on the show anymore. Kristen [Taekman] is a great girl, so is Heather [Thomson]. But you know, they’ve moved on and I just keep moving forward.” First off, I can’t tell if she’s shading them by saying she “keeps moving forward.” Second, I don’t really remember Luann getting along super well with either of them, but I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Well, that might be the case when it comes to original Real Housewives of New York cast member Jill Zarin. When asked who she would want to bring back to the series, Luann had a pretty surprising answer when she said, “Oh, Jill Zarin! Everybody wants to see Jill.” I’m not saying that I’m shocked she wants to see Jill, but I’m more stuck on the part where she thinks that everybody else wants to. Then again, I feel like it would definitely bring some good drama to the show.
Then Luann shared a super juicy tidbit about how Jill was supposed to be make a cameo appearance in 2014, but it did not go well thanks to Ramona Singer: “Ramona found out and she put the kibosh on that. Because Jill had the ‘goods’ on her … What that means is Jill knew what was going on in Ramona’s life.” I have to assume that Luann is alluding that Jill knew about Mario Singer cheating on Ramona since that timeline lines up.
So Ramona definitely does not want to see her. We all know that Bethenny Frankel wants nothing to do with her- and in my head I feel like Bethenny has a lot of influence over Andy Cohen so I really doubt that Jill would come back. Plus, Andy has even said that if Jill returned that there would probably be “a little bit of a cast mutiny.” Welp, that is way off from a forecast of a happy reunion so I doubt Jill will rejoin the cast. But then again, stranger things have happened.
