Now D’Andra getting closer with LeeAnne’s longtime enemy Brandi Redmondand while LeeAnne is finally developing friendships with her previous foes Stephanie Hollman and Cary Deuber. A lot really can change in between seasons. Maybe these ladies should just film the show all year long? It seems like the dynamics have shifted so much in between Season 2 and Season 3.
Sure, everyone’s relationship is different, but that just seems like a lot with Gina raising three kids in Orange County. Of course, hindsight is 20/20 and it’s easy for us viewers to have an opinion as outsiders, but the women on the show were actually surprised when Gina shared her intention to divorce. Really? They didn’t see any red flags with their relationship at that time?
She did pop up toward the end to catch up with Brandi Redmond about everything that went down in her absence, which didn’t seem like much, but the wheels were in motion for a major switch up in cast dynamics. D’Andra Simmons joined the show as LeeAnne Locken’sbest friend. To put it mildly, LeeAnne and Brandi have had an up and down relationship over the years, so there was pretty much no chance D’Andra and Brandi would hit it off right away. They didn’t even start out this season on good terms- at all- after D’Andra (allegedly) alluded to Brandi using Adderall in a podcast interview. Now, these two are turning up and laughing at the rodeo- much to LeeAnne’s annoyance since her own relationship with D’Andra is hanging on by a thread.
Obviously that did not sit well with Shannon and now she’s calling out Gina for stirring the pot. On a personal level, I don’t blame Shannon for being upset, but as a viewer, I’m all for Gina (and whoever else is stirring things up) to breathe some much-needed life into this show.
Out of all the husbands (and boyfriends) in Real Housewives history,Vicki Gunvalson’sman Steve Lodgeseems to be one of the least opportunistic of them all. However, that’s not what Vicki’s friend-turned-frienemy Kelly Dodd is claiming. She told Tamra Judgethat Steve is only with Vicki for her money. Nevertheless, it seem like appearing on Real Housewives of Orange County is the last thing that Steve wants to do.
Of course, Tamra did what she does best: stirred the pot. She told Vicki what Kelly said the next time she saw her. To be honest, that was the right thing to do, especially if Kelly was spreading that around to other people (which she most likely was), but it’s also setting up a major explosion the next time Vicki and Kelly see each other in person. Not only that, but Tamra also questioned if Steve really loved Vicki… even though she just told him to marry Vicki during the previous episode.
Sometimes it’s entertaining watching a Real Housewivesfriendship fall apart. Other times, it is just too tough to see genuine relationships break down in such a public forum. It’s very clear that former best friends LeeAnne Locken and D’Andra Simmonsare not friends these days. There is some very obvious tension on every single Real Housewives of Dallasepisode so far this season, it just hasn’t quite come to a head…yet.
In the mean time, we have been stuck analyzing passive aggressive conversations, shady interview comments, and digs on social media until this story line truly unfolds.
Now she’s claiming that Steve is only with Vicki for her money, a story line that we’ve seen with her other relationships. Just say it isn’t so! Steve really does seem like one of the good ones. Vicki shared her side of the story and threw some MAJOR shade at Kelly during her appearance on Watch What Happens Livelast night.
