Lindsie Chrisley was not as candid about her life as her family when shooting Chrisley Knows Best. In fact, Lindsie shared that she was never really comfortable having her life filmed, and while she can podcast easily enough, she’s never entirely comfortable being on TV.
Super shy
This revelation came when a fan noted that she seemed “so shy” on the series during an Instagram Q&A. Folks wanted to know what brought her out of her shell.
Lindsie noted how “incredibly accurate” the assessment was and shared that she was indeed incredibly shy, especially on television.
“I’ve always been a shy girlie my whole life,” she admitted. “Although the people I’m closest to probably wouldn’t say I’m shy. I podcast with one of my best friends in my home. I was just never fully comfortable on TV.”
She added that it was recognizing and acknowledging her comfort zone and tapping into it that helped her thrive despite her shyness.
Linds concluded by saying that she was “the most shy Chrisley by a long shot.”
Chrisley’s heading back to the small screen
For now, Lindsie is focusing on her podcasts, Coffee Convos and The Southern Tea. The rest of the family is set to return to television.
Last August, PEOPLE confirmed the Chrisley family teamed up with Scout Productions for a new reality TV series. It will follow a pivotal new chapter for the Chrisley kids.
The series serves as a continuation of the Chrisley story. Fans of the family will see what happens while the rents are in prison.
The company shared that fans will get to see the Chrisleys how “they truly are,” a family that’s entertaining as ever but doesn’t shy away from authentic drama.
Savannah Chrisley shared that she was excited for the new series and said, “The time was right to share our story.”
