One of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4’s defining features has been the vitriol between Angie Katsanevas and Meredith Marks. Things reached their first boiling point during the trip to Palm Springs.
Angie hadn’t been invited on the trip, but Whitney Rose brought her along anyway, much to Meredith’s dismay. Angie wasn’t oblivious; she knew Meredith didn’t want her there.
So, during an intense dinner, Angie and Meredith went at it. Angie said everything about Meredith was fake, and the RHOSLC OG responded by shouting, “You! Can! LEAVE!” Since then, the shade has continued between the two. Case in point: Angie’s recent interview.
Is wine to blame for Meredith’s fake accent?
In an interview with Us Weekly, Angie discussed her personal life and, of course, RHOSLC. When asked about Meredith’s British accent, Angie said, “It’s wild. I think Meredith has multiple personalities. I just don’t know what else to say about that.” Angie went on, speculating on what would contribute to Meredith’s assumed accent.
She explained, “I stay pretty sober while filming, and just in general, so, I don’t know if it’s the wine, I don’t know what it is that brings on, like, these accents and these personalities, but, well, good for her.” She added, “She’s like that adventure book, like, ‘I can be anyone today. Today I’m British, today I’m Greek, today I’m American.’”
Angie concluded her thoughts on the matter by saying, “I don’t know. It’s fun. Good for her. Like, a lot of role-playing going on, it’s fun.” Angie was then asked to do her best impression of Meredith’s, “You can leave!” After so doing, she said, “If she would have asked in a nicer tone, maybe I would’ve left. But it was so awful, I was like, ‘Uh, no girl, you can leave.’”
