Is Summer House roommate Sam Feher done spitting in boyfriend Kory Keefer’s mouth? I know. It’s gross, but apparently, it was their thing. Maybe not anymore, if rumors of them being broken up are true.
In a photo shared on her Instagram, January 2, Sam hinted that she and Kory are over. The New Year’s Eve photo showed her with a friend, holding a martini and wearing a black sequin dress. The caption simply said, “a fresh start,” accompanied by a martini and three-star emoji.
Even though their relationship became official on Season 3 of Winter House (which filmed in March 2023), and they were together at BravoCon in November 2023, fans are now wondering if Sam and Kory’s love story is finished.
Have Sam and Kory broken up?
Fans were quick to react to Sam’s cryptic New Year’s post. Followers took note of Kory’s absence, and the caption just added to the mystery.
“Are you and Kory still together?” one poster asked.
Another commented with, “You can do much better than Kory! Go get it!!,” adding clapping hands emoji.
A third fan added, “Be happy, beautiful! Happy New Year!!! You deserve to always be treated with kindness and RESPECT.”
The overall attitude was that Kory would be the loser if they had split and that Sam should celebrate her “single era.”
Malia didn’t respect the “situationship”
Kory and Sam first met in the summer of 2022, when they both appeared on Summer House. They didn’t put a label on their relationship at the time but were still dating when Sam came to visit Winter House in March.
When Kory showed up alone in Steamboat Springs, he felt free to flirt with the female cast members in the house. He was especially friendly with Below Deck Mediterranean alum Malia White.
Sam took immediate notice of his interactions with Malia when she came for a visit toward the end of the show, and it caused some friction between them. Sam’s insecurity in the “situationship” instigated Kory’s finally admitting that he was “technically” her boyfriend. But Malia’s continued flirtation, which she thought of as playfulness, irritated Sam.
“It’s not like I’m not mad at Kory,” Sam told Andy Cohen at the Winter House reunion. “[But] what a f*cking strain it has put on our relationship.”
“Sam, you just think everyone wants Kory, and it’s laughable,” Malia answered, insisting that she and Kory were never more than friends.
For Kory’s part, the gym owner admitted he would like “to have a girl that wasn’t official and flirt with all the girls.” I’ve looked at his Instagram, and he’s been posting pics of himself with other women. Why did he tell Sam she was his girlfriend? He’s nowhere near settling down. Move on, Samantha. You’re better off without him.
