Molly Ringwald has opened up about her time on The Secret Life of the American Teenager. The 58-year-old actress, who portrayed Anne Juergens in the ABC Family series that ran from July 2008 to June 2013, said one person on set was “really difficult.”

While appearing on the August 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the actress took part in a game of Spill the IMDb Tea. The segment had her evaluate some of her biggest roles based on her on-set experiences, reports People.
Ringwald looked back on roles in films like Not Another Teen Movie, Jem and the Holograms, and Pretty in Pink. The actress then rated her experience on The Secret Life of the American Teenager. After confirming that 1 represented the lowest rating, Ringwald rated her experience on The Secret Life of the American Teenager as the worst.
She then said, “It was a hard… okay. I loved the cast. I loved Shailene [Woodley], there’s so many people that I worked with that… there was one person that was really difficult.” The actress said she would keep the person’s identity private, but their actions brought her rating down to a 1.
According to Just Jared, the ABC Family series featured Shailene Woodley as Amy Juergens, a 15-year-old who becomes pregnant after an encounter with Ricky Underwood at band camp. Ringwald played Woodley’s mother. The series focused on Amy’s experience with teenage pregnancy, becoming a mother, and navigating relationships with those around her.
