Todd and Julie Chrisley Sell Tennessee Home for Whopping $5.2 Million

Are things starting to look up for the convicts Todd and Julie Chrisley? The former Chrisley Knows Best stars (now felons) have been locked away and are serving time for their guilty pleas in their fraud case in 2022. They were sentenced to a combined 19 years: Todd, 12, and Julie, seven.

As part of their sentence, the judge ordered the pair to pay back $17.2 million in restitution. Lucky for them, they just cashed some big bucks.

While their house being floated for sale was kept under wraps, news of its sale has just gone public.

Todd and Julie cash $5 million from selling their house…

According to TMZ, property records show that the reality family sold their Tennessee mansion in April 2023 for a whopping $5.2 million.

The home, which is 13,000 square feet and sold off-market to a buyer, was purchased by the Chrisleys in 2019 for $3.75 million and comes with an “indoor sports court, a professional chef’s kitchen, a sprawling pool with a jacuzzi, and gorgeous architecture throughout.”

Selling their home isn’t the only win Todd and Julie have celebrated behind bars. Earlier this month, their family’s attorney revealed the state of Georgia would issue the family a $1 million settlement due to alleged misconduct in their criminal case.

“We have been saying for months that the criminal case against the Chrisleys was highly unusual and had real problems. This settlement is an encouraging sign,” the lawyer explained.

“It’s nearly unprecedented for one arm of the government to pay money to defendants when another arm is fighting to keep them in jail.”

The Chrisleys have been open about their plans to appeal their sentencing. Their next hearing is on the books for Apr. 2024, and the family remains hopeful. “Only about 6 percent of cases that are submitted for oral arguments get accepted. So this is huge news,” Savannah Chrisley said.
