Before we can dive into the spoilers, let’s take a look at where Joey and the women traveled this season. Now that we are well past the COVID-19 seasons, we can once again enjoy the scenic travel that is an essential part of the Bachelor franchise.

The first exotic location on the list is Malta, where Joey and the women traveled after spending some time at the mansion. Next up is Spain, where the group headed before making their way to Montreal, Canada. After hometowns, Joey and the final three women made their way to Tulum, Mexico, for fantasy suites.

A Dramatic 2-on-1 Date

The Bachelor is no stranger to drama, and Joey’s season is no exception. There was a big feud between two women, Sydney Gordon and Maria Georgas. The fight apparently began when Sydney told Madina Alam that Maria had made a comment about her. Madina was insecure about being one of the older women on the season, which is what led to the comment at issue.

At some point in the season, Sydney and Maria were both selected for an infamous 2-on-1 date. At the end of the date, Joey decided to send Sydney home over Maria.

Lauren Self Eliminates

One of the most interesting things about Joey’s season is that two sisters decided to compete for his heart. Allison Hollinger and her sister Lauren Hollinger both decided to give Joey a shot, although things did not work out as they had hoped. Early on, Lauren decides to self eliminate. According to Reality Steve, Lauren was not feeling Joey and felt that Allison liked him more. As a result, she decided to self eliminate.

Maria Is Eliminated After Hometowns

Despite surviving her 2-on-1 with Sydney, Maria was eventually eliminated after hometowns where she placed fourth. The other three women who received hometown dates were Daisy Kent, Rachel Nance, and Kelsey Anderson. Joey traveled to Canada to meet Maria’s family, but it is not clear what happened on the date beyond that. All we know is that Maria was definitely eliminated after hometowns, leaving Daisy, Rachel, and Kelsey.

Rachel Is Eliminated After Fantasy Suites

ABC/Ricky Middlesworth

After heading to Mexico, Rachel is eventually eliminated after fantasy suite week. While it is not yet clear why Rachel was eliminated, we can confirm that Daisy and Kelsey were the final two women. After fantasy suites, the Women Tell All will air before the finale. As a result, it is likely that Rachel will be a part of the Tell All and have a chance to talk to Joey in the hot seat.

Daisy Gets The Final Rose!

ABC/Ricky Middlesworth

And now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Reality Steve has reported that Daisy is the lucky recipient of the final rose, and she gets engaged to Joey in Mexico. Daisy also happened to receive the first 1-on-1 date of the season, which indicates that she and Joey had a strong connection early on. This of course means that Kelsey was the runner up.

Both Daisy and Kelsey had the opportunity to meet Joey’s family in Mexico, although not much else is known about their final dates. Daisy was a front-runner all season, so it is not surprising that Joey ends up choosing her in the end. Despite the trailers teasing a dramatic end for Joey, it appears that he will get the traditional Bachelor ending after getting down on one knee.
