RHOSLC Season 4 Winners and Losers, Post Finale

With every season, there are always winners and losers when it comes to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Though RHOSLC Season 4 seems to have fewer stand-out cast members than in recent years. As we learned in elementary school, not every snowflake is created the same, and this is also true when it comes to Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, and Monica Garcia. The drama was at an all-time high as rookie Monica rocked everyone’s Bravosphere. But who came out triumphant, and who fell from the throne? These are the RHOSLC Season 4 winners and losers now that the season has wrapped. Trigger warning: these are MY OPINIONS, so let me know what you think below.

Loser – Whitney Rose

Ms. Wild over here has gotten under my skin quite well this season. Between her constant pats on the back for her interpersonal work, which I hope she didn’t sprain her arm doing, and her chasing Heather out of a bar in Bermuda, she has left me exhausted. While it is great that Whitney is working through her own issues—I don’t need to hear about them on a constant loop. She always seemed to want to have an issue, too. Like girl, pick a struggle.

The last straw came when she tried to make a mountain out of a molehill after reading her cousin’s book, Bad Mormon. While she felt her sex life had been exploited, Heather came with receipts proving they had a conversation about it, and she had even left out a few words. So Whitney, in the immortal words of Kenya Moore, “Don’t come for me unless I call for you.”

Winner – Angie Katsanevas

I loved watching Angie “The Don” K on Season 4. The Greek Goddess never let viewers forget where she came from but did it in such a genuine and, at times, comical way that it brought me right back to My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Dare I say Angie gave me OG Sonja Morgan antics, and I want to see her back for next season.

The mother of one was also not afraid of jumping into the deep end when it came to confronting the ladies. Angie had her fair share of run-ins with Meredith and Monica as she made sure to defend her husband to the death. Angie is the kinda gal I want as a friend, so Angie, if you’re looking for a new bestie, I am available!

Loser – Meredith Marks

There is something about Meredith. Let me start by saying I was a huge fan during Season 1. I felt Meredith was put together, accomplished, and a voice of reason. But By Season 4, she had me cringing at her during almost every scene, which is saying a lot after Season 3’s shared bath experience with her husband. I’m starting to get a sense that she doesn’t even know who she is, especially when she got so drunk she turned English. Is that even a thing? I mean, you aren’t Madonna.

The mother of three is hit or miss in terms of how involved she decides to be with the rest of the cast, and as we saw, a bathtub took precedence this season. Season 4 showed just how boring Meredith was, leaving fans forced to watch her son, Brooks Marks. I’m disengaging from Meredith.

Winner – Heather Gay

I’m just going to leave this here:

Receipts.

A timeline.

Also, we are finally getting an answer about Season 3’s black eye. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t an excitable faucet tap.

Loser – Monica Garcia

I really was rooting for Monica in the first episode, but damn, between her four name changes, hater of a mother, and troll account, it’s hard to think she came out on top. The reunion is revealing her side, which at times is heartbreaking, but I doubt the cast will ever be able to trust her again.

If the rest of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast doesn’t want to film with her, then she might get the boot. Maybe she should have just kept her snarky, mean girl comments to herself.
