Mauricio Umansky Building New Homes for Charitable Causes

It turns out that Mauricio Umansky isn’t just trying to sell homes (though he is doing that, too). He’s also helping create them with Habitat for Humanity for those who need them most. And he’s getting his kids in on the action, too.

The Agency founder and CEO talked with TMZ at his construction site in Los Angeles about their project and how his daughters are helping build new homes.

Giving back

Mauricio shared that they had partnered with Habitat for Humanity and Giveback Homes. The Agency members dedicate their free time and money to creating affordable housing for those who need it.

He explained that a set of criteria ensured the homes would go to the right people. These included proof of financial need, falling within the average median income of 50%- 120%, being willing to contribute sweat equity, good credit, and a small down payment, among others.

Further, Mauricio has made it a family affair with his daughters coming to help at the building site, though no sign of Kyle Richards this time. He teased his daughters, saying it was a good learning experience. Mauricio added he wouldn’t come to their rescue when they needed simple home repairs like changing lightbulbs.

The girls enjoy helping out, leaving heartfelt messages on the kitchen walls, and proudly showing off their work.

This isn’t the first time Mauricio has helped create homes for the underprivileged and tried to give back to the community. Still, he is grateful he and his family can contribute in their way, especially considering his humble beginnings.

Mo’s efforts in helping others comes amid continued marriage issues with Kyle. Fans also aren’t thrilled with either one of them after it appears Buying Beverly Hills will get more down and dirty with the estranged couple’s separation.
