It seems that PK Kemsley managed to keep his former marital home from being sold. PK and Dorit Kemsley are going through a nasty divorce. The former couple’s financial woes were front and center. In addition, the implosion of Dorit and PK’s marriage served as Dorit’s storyline on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Now as we know, the former couple’s Encino home was in pre-foreclosure. During the Season 15 RHOBH reunion, Dorit admitted that she believed PK had been making the payments.
Ronald Richards wades into the Dorit and PK Kemsley house drama
In a recent legal filing, an email from Dorit’s legal team placed the blame on PK. “PK readily admits that he can pay the mortgage. However, he simply does not want to do so,” the email read. Dorit’s legal team added that her ex “wants to starve out his spouse to force a sale of the home where his children live.”
However, according to court documents filed by PK, Dorit has spent over $1 million on designer clothes and handbags. Yet, she allegedly didn’t make any payments on the mortgage.
Well, attorney Ronald Richards broke down what he believes happened with the sale of Dorit and PK’s home. In a post via X, formerly Twitter, Ronald wrote, “Dorit Kemsley’s sale date was postponed to June 3, 2026 at 10:30am. As we broke the story yesterday, we believe some last-minute payments by Paul Kemsley saved the day for Dorit. The house is owned in an LLC owned by Dorit.”
Ronald continued, “They are legally separated. She makes more money than Paul. She lives in the house and has spent most of her post-separation earnings on herself instead of servicing the loans to her LLC.” He added that the money that PK paid “will never be recovered or repaid by Dorit.”
According to Ronald, “Dorit has a spending problem and cannot service her non-conforming (high interest) loans and needs to move out so the property can be sold. Paul had no legal obligation to help Dorit, but he did it for the benefit of his kids and to save Dorit from herself.”
