Season 2 of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard aired on Bravo March 24th. Fans were excited to welcome back stars like Jordan Emanuel, Amir Lancaster, Bria Fleming, and Jasmine Ellis Cooper to their TV screens. Of course, this crew of 10 friends is all about the turn-up. However, they were shocked when Jasmine revealed she wouldn’t be consuming alcohol during their 15-day vacation.
During her conversations with the others, she said Alex Tyree’s sober lifestyle rubbed off on her. However, the truth is she was hiding her pregnancy. Jasmine announced that she and Silas Cooper were expecting in 2023, and the first episode of Season 2 showed her balancing life without him in the house. (Silas was deployed in Eastern Europe while filming.)
“OK, so don’t make me cry — but yes, it was different,” Jasmine said about her hubby’s absence. But Silas being gone isn’t why she concealed her bun in the oven. “I think because I knew a lot was going on amongst the friendships, I was like, ‘This has to be handled first and I have to feel comfortable in this house and exercise my agency before I share this huge moment,’” she told Page Six. “It was priorities.”
Bria said she had a feeling her SHMV cast mate was pregnant…
Although Jasmine didn’t spill the beans during last night’s episode, some of her co-stars had a feeling she was expecting.
“During filming, I felt like she was [expecting], and I think I said it at the dinner table. I was like, ‘I thought she was pregnant,’” Bria noted. “And it’s so funny … because at [my boyfriend] Simon [Marco]’s birthday, I’m ordering spicy margaritas, but she’s ordering the virgin version of that, and I’m like, ‘No, you were drinking with me!’ And she’s like, ‘No, I wasn’t.'”
“And I’m like, ‘Yes, you were. I saw you!’ She’s like, ‘No it was virgin.’ I’m like, ‘When did you have the time to order a mocktail?’”

Last night’s episode also showed Jasmine trying to reconnect with her friends — specifically Jordan.
The trailer teased some explosive moments to come between them. However, during a chat with Reality Tea, Jordan said they went through what most friends experience.
“I mean, obviously, friendships go through ups and downs. She’s had a lot of change in her life; I’ve had a lot of change in my life. And sometimes, you know, you grow apart, and sometimes you look at life a little bit differently. So, I don’t think it’s anything abnormal to what normal friends go through. You just see the ins and outs of it a little bit more this season than you did last season,” she said. “And as of now, we’re good.”
Preston Mitchum is another Summer House star who bumped heads with Jasmine during the off-season. After he vacationed with Jordan and a few others in Jamaica, Jasmine shared that she felt excluded.
In his statement to Page Six, Preston suggested Jasmine look inward rather than outward. “Some things are not necessarily about being excluded. It’s about sometimes, ‘What are we doing to exclude ourselves?’” he said.
