Tia Mowry is coming back to reality TV! The multi-hyphenate who starred in series like Sister, Sister, The Game with Drew Sidora, and Instant Mom on Nickelodeon will star in a new series: Tia Mowry: My Next Chapter on WEtv.
It’s not the first time she’s shown her real life in front of the cameras, though. She starred in another show on the Style Network with her sister, Tamera Mowry, called Tia & Tamera. The program ran for three seasons and saw the famous twins going through ups and downs, from pregnancies to marriages and life in Napa Valley.
Tia is dusting herself off after her divorce and living her best life…
For those familiar with Tia, you know she announced her divorce from her husband of 14 years in June 2023. Since then, she’s been focusing on herself, her children, and her happiness. Fortunately for fans, we’ll get to see it play out when the show airs at a later date.
“I am excited to share more about myself, both personally and professionally. Having been in the public eye for most my life, things often get misinterpreted, or people get misled. I am excited to pull back the curtain on this next chapter of my life,” Tia said about the production.
Brett Dismuke, Head of Content at WEtv, spoke to Deadline. He said it’s been a “joy watching Tia’s career progress” since her early days on Sister, Sister.
“Tia has maintained tremendous success with a prolific career that continues to evolve, however, there is much more than meets the eye. We are thrilled Tia trusted WEtv to share her unfiltered journey, giving viewers deeply personal and unapologetic access as she enters her next chapter.”
In an Instagram post, Tia shared the news, saying that each episode will showcase more than we’ve ever seen before. “You’ll join me as I navigate my newly single status, motherhood, building businesses, and juggling my super busy and ever-evolving career.”
“I’m ready to date, take my multiple businesses to the next level, and discover what makes me happy. With this exciting new chapter comes profound changes and adjustments to the roles I play in my everyday life and my next act.”
